This was one of the main reasons he split. That and their relationship was beginning to fray. Probably better to get out now before it goes Shaq/Kobe mode this upcoming season.

Translation: executive of a team that wants Westbrook spreads rumors that are probably being leaked by Durbeta's camp to make him look good.

Maybe the Thunder will get so bad their attendance will decline and they'll move back to Seattle where they belong. Damn you David Stern, the traitor.

We all like to argue about these things, but it is kinda funny how we really have no true insight into the actual nuts & bolts of the situation... What's it like dealing with Westbrook every day during the season? With Steven Adams? With Donovan? How close was Durant really to Ibaka? What's Durant's idea of a perfect Offense? For all we know, Durant has put up countless headaches for years, and this move was actually delayed a few years too many in his opinion.... who knows...

Headaches are for sissies. You can't defend him moving to the third option on a team that didn't need him. He won't be playing to his best ability but as a fancy role player, The Lamar Odom role. The Kevin love role. The Boris Diaw role. Those aren't hall of fame players (actually most will get in but you get the point)
