Are these guys going to make some noise or just be media fodder while they cruise through another worthless season?

East is a joke, the same shit is circulating at different toilet bowls. I like the gamble by PJax, but its very doubtful it pays off.

They're taking a bunch of small steps forward & are improving, but still not a serious threat...

Honestly, I think they will surprise people this year. I also like what Chicago did too. They needed a shakeup badly.

This.

But a good gamble by Jack.

The most dangerous man is one with nothing to lose...

I actually really like the moves they did. If they are healthy and mesh they can be a top 3 team in east. Cavs Bulls Knicks with the top 3 seeds most likley or throw in boston with those for the top 4.

Yes, with Melo, Rose, Noah Knicks have a shot at winning the East, but I don't think they will beat Cleveland.

What's your opinion on Hoiberg? Do you think he can make Butler/Wade/Rondo work? They don't really fit together on the court. Plus, all three are used to being the leader of the team, not sure Hoiberg can handle that locker room.

Their bench is nonexistent

If they are healthy and that is a big if, I have them beating the Cavs. You can't deny the talent here, they are waist deep.
