Going to be a real nice player tbh. Also is lucky that he doesn't have to play with one of the biggest team cancers in NBA history...

Also, probably top 5 ugliest players in the league already....

But yeah, going to be a very good player IMO.

I'm really happy with this pick up, I like him more than Simmons imho. not worried about his weight , he's strong , and he will get bigger. I think he will win rookie of the year. We lucked into this one.

Agreed. I am hoping he can gain 25-30lbs. He'll be more explosive and will be able to play PF with added bulk.

His game is smooth though. I want to see him on the 2nd night of a B2B vs. Simmons.

His defense really surprised me. I read somewhere his wingspan and standing reach > KL's

Russell looked great last night. I'm hoping he continues to grow as a player. 20/11/6 with 3 steals was awesome. Gotta cut down on TOs (5) though.

Hey pussy....His jumper does looks like Marcus Camby jumper but he has time to work on that shit...you always want your rookies looking kind of unpolished...thats a very good sign....the real key you look for is poise and confidence....and Ingraam has it in abundance....you look for attitude and Ingram displays it with confidence on the defensive end...this is key....he will be an all-star in 3 yrs ....my only issue with the Lakers young players is that they're all extreme ball hogs with no reason to be....Randle and Clarkson especially....but we'll see..

Not gonna judge Ingram yet, he's way too skinny, atm..

He can't handle even the slightest contact and is constantly off-balance because of it..he makes Dominos look like Dwight Howard, physically..

All jokes aside, Julian Randle actually does look decent..definitely doesn't have star potential IMO, but I can see him becoming a good #3 guy if he keeps working..I haven't seen a single thing from D'Tective to believe he could be a star, though..

Russell is going to be a late bloomer IMO, it would probably take another season before he can leave a mark on a consistent basis. I'm honestly not worried about him. When he's good, his fingerprints are all over the game. He's a lead guard who's capable of handling, distributing, shooting, & scoring.

Ingram is really raw, like you said, he needs conditioning but this kid is going to be a game changer, tbh. Incredible amount of potential. Excited with the idea of grooming him as a point forward.

son ingram is 190 pounds vs the league average of 220-230-240 at his matchup. That's giving up 20-25-30% mass per matchup. Even his coach has discussed multiple times that he needs to get stronger and kept him on a tight leash in minutes. Instead of :lol you should actually watch the player tbh.

yeah but that's irrelevant.. the less the weight, the smaller the amount of energy is spent to move, that's physics. And if you see much posting up on a sf in today's nba, especially in irrelevant games like those that lakers play, well i don't know what to tell you. Bottom line is, he is tired because his fitness level is bad. It has nothing to do with the amount of weight he carries. Now, why does he defend badly and has trouble getting good position on offense is a completely different discussion.

sure, if the energy would be a constant, but it isn't . That energy has to be produced by something, which in human beings is generated through muscles, so low muscle mass means low energy capability. If he would never touch another player on the court (just run and shoot) he'd still need muscle mass for explosion and stamina. So because he is underdeveloped physically he has to overexert himself to play to the physical level (stamina, explosiveness, strength) of the league median, even without considering contact with other players.

His body and conditioning belongs to a text book example of an ectomorph 19 year old :lol. It's no surprised he's struggling, I mean he's younger if not the same age as most prospects entering the 2017 NBA draft.

I laughed when most analysts had him at # 1 last year, the talent gap between him and Simmons is so huge. Ingram is going to be a project, maybe 3 full seasons before we see what he's made of.
