He took several shots at the Spurs.
Duncan wasn't marketable using his shoes as an example.
Said the Spurs tanked to get Duncan.
Said Duncan pioneered the taking games off.
This piece of shit fat fuck.

This guy makes a living off of blowing lebron james. I doubt many people take that fat clown seriously.

Baseball is the only sport being played right now, so I'm not surprised all the good reporters they have are taking weeks off. Mediocre sport tbh

OP is a troll. Windhorst was so effusive when talking about Tim. Went on and on about how GREAT Tim was/is. Don't feed this bullshit.

I dunno if the Spurs pioneered tanking but the Spurs getting Duncan is obviously an argument for tanking.

Though the Spurs didn't truly need to "tank" due to all of the season-sending injuries to Robinson and Co., all of that is true, and there's nothing wrong with any of it. Quit trying so hard with the 'media done us wrong' routine.
Keepin' it real

At least he did a decent job. And not one Lebron mention. I'm sure that hurt him greatly.

Duncan has been receiving immense praise and respect from the mainstream media today, tbh..virtually all of ESPN's respected and credible analysts have been saying he's the best of the Shaq/Kobe/KG/Dirk generation for a few years, too..
Oh, Gee!!

:lol Spurs fans should calm down... the whole day you can cherry pick an idiot making a stupid comment... there won't be any unanimity obviously... the hating or disrespectful comments are quite rare tbh

The idea of even using shoe sales/marketability/brand in a basketball discussion is part of the issue... Timmy was happy avoiding all that.
Bill Russell had a similar temperament, and once said something along the lines of, "I'm here to win basketball games-- I refuse to be an entertainer."
So many modern day players are happy to be spokespeople for corporations-- I feel like so much of the time, they're not even aware of the issues surrounding them, as if extra celebrity & "brand-building" are intrinsically "good," as if they were part of the Kardashian family.
Tim wanted no part of that, and I'll always admire him for that.

Even if we did "tank" that year which I am not convinced we did, we still statistically did not have the best chance of landing the No. 1 pick. We still had a bit of luck that had to factor in for us to get Timmy. It just pisses me off that blowhards cannot give this man his due.

Absolutely nobody has said anything negative about Duncan because there isn't anything negative to say. He literally is the Best player of his generation, greatest teammate ever and probably the nicest guy to ever play.
He's about 2 burgers this side of death.

He looks like that comedian Ralphie May if he went on a weight loss show and did well, but has slipped a little bit when they do the 6 month follow up.

Would love to know when "all of our good players are hurt" became tanking

Windhorst has given Duncan a lot of props. Just heard him say in an interview that Duncan is without no question a top 10 all-time great. He also said Duncan was a revolutionary player along with trend setter.
