And the real kicker here is that Duncan won all the worldwide regions, including China. I thought Kirbs was supposed to be the most beloved NBA player around the world?

:toast Timmy D. Just doing player of his generations thangs.

There are a 1.3 billion people in China. A small percentage of 40k votes is not representative of a country of 1.3 billion people.

The fact that 48% people suddenly forgot about shaq is nauseating.

Overwhelming majority of the Chinese population are farmers living in rural lands. It's not like all the Chinese know who Kobe is.

The Chinese who would be voting here would be tech-savvy young people "in the know," which is the demographic that makes up the NBA fanbase in China, so I think we can get a good gauge of what they think from that sample size.

Sample size is fine, but the poll itself isn't representative anyway.

Kobe is quite lucky to retire same age, to be same generation... it makes media compare them and put them together when in fact they both are on different level tbh... tim is a top 5 all time, kobe a top 15.

No, I'm fine. Duncan strong armed $5.6 million, then absconded with it.

I would be a hypocrite if I used popularity as a meaningful indication of anything. Popularity is irrelevant. Duncan > Kobe for all the reasons that matter, though.

Yeah, cept Duncan got waived. Duncan got stretched. Duncan took the money & ran off with it.

Now Media, even the local guys are trying to run from the waiver wire.

Uh, uh, not on my watch it ain't gonna happen. Duncan got waived & stretched and I'm gonna ram it down your throats & up your asses and if you try and stop me I'll go thru you like shit thru an Xmas goose.

Kobe had cut to it earlier:::"More cutthroat than given credit for."

That's it. & that's all.
