Only played 13 minutes, but already looks more promising than Cady or Ndoye. Anyone watch him play at Clemson or know more about him?

Cady is the shittiest player I have seen in awhile - then I saw stokes, and livio. Why in the world are spurs wasting their time with players who are this bad?

I had been watching Ndoye as a good defensive big on the cheap for us. He's pretty athletic for a guy that size...but he doesn't so much have the basketball skills so much. I haven't completely soured on him. Maybe he can make some improvemwnts in training camp. I have not followed Nnoko. He gives away some length to Ndoye, but does appear to be a more skilled player. Pau, LMA, Dedmon, and Nnoko might not be horrible for our four centers.

LMA, Slomo, Bertans, LJC, and Nnoko at the 4 would provide some versatility.

Lots of new/yiung guys gonna have to step up this season. Will be interesting to watch.

Dedmon, LJC, and Nnoko might not provide offense that West, Boban, and Diaw, but we would seemingly not be so damned undersized in the paint off the bench like last year. That was painful to watch vs OKC, specifically.

Rewatching the game, I think he needs to at least be tendered a training camp invite. He moves well for his size, can defend on the perimeter and in the post, sets solid screens, and can block a shot. He also has a good motor from what I've seen. Small sample size but with all the crappy play we've seen from our very own rights held players, I think he showed a lot in limited minutes. Kind of wish I seen more. He rolls well too. With the kind of lineup Becky put him in, he showed a potential niche that he can play.

I agree this kid is a basketball player our other bugs are just tall players with no basketball sense/IQ. Not sold on any of our other bigs Stokes is to short and plays terrible defense and Livio just sucks period and I don't k kW what happened to Cady?

Agreed, hopefully the spurs were impressed as well, i wouldnt mind him as 5th/garbage time big at the very least

Wish he had played over Lorbek and that non-Bertans Latvian guy.

To add on, I feel that he's undersized for a center, but I don't think he has the offensive skill to do anything else. He is younger than Ndoye and Cady by a couple of years, so that's a plus. Doesn't seem to have elite athleticism, but he has enough to get by. At this point, I wouldn't hate the bringing in few centers to compete for that final spot with the losers being part of the Toros and thus still available to for call-up if something changes.

Would rather have this kid then Livio who is a PF who has not out side shooting skills so might as well go with a bigger guy who can rebound and block shots!!!

Yeah I agree. We ask Livio two things defense and rebounding who doesn't deliver and these are two things Nnoko does really well. Actually all he does. Love his back taps, his mobility, and his motor.

Don't have a head to head comparison but how would he compare to that Mulutinov guy? Isn't he expected at camp?

I like Mulutinov as he has more experience and is true center at 7'0 tall. But I don't think we can afford him though I may be wrong. Even still I would like to keep Nnoko even if he stays in D league he is younger then any of our other projects and I think more talented then our current D Leagures.

It is all well and good to like Milutinov more. I like the Gasol brothers playing together for The Spurs, this year. Not sure how important it is that I like that scenario when it won't happen. On a less dramatic note, it doean't look like Milutinov is coming over this year from articles saying he is signing a deal in Europe, and he did not show up for any SL games. I could be wrong, but this could be one of those wish in one hand and shit in another and see which one fills faster situations.

Therefore, it sure makes more sense to consider Nnoko as an option, and leave Milutinov out of the discussion.
