Akron native, graduate of the now-defunct Central High School. He and the late Gus Johnson were probably the best players to come out of Akron before LeBron. His leadership was instrumental in the Cavaliers' "Miracle of Richfield" run in 1976. RIP.

One of the more underrated players in league history because he played against wilt, Russell and Kareem. I guess you can say he's like mourning or Daugherty, because those two were over shadowed by Hakeem, Robinson, Ewing and shaq.

If those three players were born 10 years later, their legacy would've been so much greater.

RIP Nate. Was one of my favourite old time players.

Never had the pleasure of watching him but always heard good things.

He's very unique in his talent, almost like a poor man's, or precursor to Walton of some sort. However, Thurmond's game is based on quickness, and Walton takes advantage of his large size. Both of them were very intelligent and have excellent timing.
