Dude acts like a mental midget, but he has a point ...what ARE the Kings doing? I like Vlade but he has not been effective as an exec.
The 6-foot-11 Cousins also was asked Monday about Sacramento's decision to add the 7-1 Papagiannis and the 6-11 Labissiere to an already crowded frontcourt. Last summer, the Kings used their first-round pick on 7-foot forward Willie Cauley-Stein and signed 7-foot center Kosta Koufos to a four-year, $33 million deal.
"I don't really understand what's going on," Cousins said. "I just control what I can control."

The today's NBA vs. old school NBA is at least entertaining ...

yeah I can see the reasoning if looked at that way. The Papa pick still has me scratching my head. But the trade down and acquisition of extra picks, and getting Bogdan from PHX look like good moves. Skal looked very good in summer league, GM's are going to be kicking themselves for passing on him. Calipari played him out of position all year, he's much more suited as a perimeter stretch 4, which compliments Cousins well.

The Skal pick may end up extending Vlade's undeserved career there. He's a player.
Sorry buddy... about Vlade, I mean.

Cousins one of the most overrated bigman ever. He shoots shitty FG percentage for a big. This guy is going to be out of the league by the time he hits 30 much like Jr Rider due to being super toxic.

I'd take action on this. Cousins will be 28 in 2 years when this contract is up. I am certain, barring major injury, that he will sign a max deal with someone taking him past 30 years old. Toxic or not, he is at least a top 3 center in the league and maybe the most talented.

First of all that doesn't really mean much since the centers in this current NBA are pretty shitty. Cousins is a black Kevin Love in the sense he stat pads on a shitty team but isn't a winner. Again he shoots awful percentages for a bigman. I guess I should phrase it like this whenever his next max contract expires then he will be out of the league.

I think he understands damn well. Sac needs to feel solidified at their bigs before trading him.

I did not say that I wanted him on my team. I was commenting on him being out of the league by 30. Comparing him to Kevin Love proves my point. Love got a max contract to stay in Cleveland. The dearth of quality centers in the NBA just puts those with talent at a premium. And the egos of GM's and Head Coaches around the league will assure that more than one team will conclude that THEY are the ones that can control and channel Cousins. That it was all that crappy Sactown organization that after all, is one of the worst in the league, right? And...Multiple Max Contract Offers.

I wonder if Cousins is truly the cancer he is painted out to be ...
OR if he is partly the by-product of a revolving door of coaches and shaky front-office leadership.
Ultimately he has to be held accountable for his own actions and behavior but if he was drafted by the Spurs not only might he have developed like your Kiwi but Spur fan wouldnt be hurling so many insults at him.
All that being said I do not trust this man to be a franchise pillar ...but I wonder if the right coaching and better team-mates wouldnt do wonders for him ...

Cousins will likely play to his mid thirties if it's important enough to him. He's too skilled and one of few men of such mass to not to. But he won't be a winner b/c his tude his sh**. High achieving NBA players stop acting the thug. Some still wear it as a bit of a facade; but they realize it's not otherwise compatible with success.

That's just some chicken/egg sh**. Cousins is a cancer; in other words he's a me first person just like Melo; and that does not motivate or inspire. It's basic math.
