Shit idea. Corporate whores with no dignity. It would be great for a sponsor to step up and keep the jerseys free of ads. That would garner good will with fans and make more noise than any ad. Announcers would mention it, fans would look it up, etc.. Anytime a fan sees the Spurs' jersey ad-free they would know it came from Company X.

We've grown used to ads on soccer jerseys. Male American jerseys have always been sacred, but I'm fine with it as long as the ad is small like the Sixers' one and doesn't dominate the jersey. Would hurt the brand.

Would also be great if they keep the ad off the jerseys during the playoffs.
