tbh since I beat blood and wine idk what to do now :lol I don't start my new job til the 22nd and since the wife is going to visit family for a couple weeks I need something to keep me occupied when there's nothing else to do. problem is, wtf do i play? :lol I red box'd Far Cry Primal but I got bored pretty fast, it's just FC4 but with spears imo.

Any suggestions? doesnt necessarily have to be new either. and keep in mind i only have an xpoor one and poorstation 4 :lol

Already beat stuff like Fallout 4, GTAV, bloodborne, doom, uncharted 4, dying light, and the tomb raiders. probably some other stuff im forgetting. but yeah any recommendations are appreciated*

*unless its some gay shit like ratchet and clank or pokemon

skip Mortal Kombat X, fancy graphics and nothing else, tbh...

One game that got mixed reviews was Just Cause 3, but I haven't played it (although I'm a big fan of Just Cause 2). Might be worth redboxing and checking it out.

A not AAA game that got pretty good reviews is Furi (furigame.com)

I had rented just cause 3 awhile back and while it had some cool features it didn't really draw me in. seemed like ot was more geared towards the action imo. I enjoy story driven games a lot

Pokemon go. I'm being serious. Stop acting manly and start playing a phenom you will never ever see once it starts declining.

You're crazy.. The gameplay is deep as hell, a ton of these "pro" players are choosing it over SF V competitively

OP, if you haven't tried Splinter Cell: Blacklist, that would be one to try if you like stealth and spy shit with gadgets, etc.. Story line is actually not bad for a game either.

You're talking hardcore guys, tbh, I suspect if Lee was a hardcore too, he would have it already. I always loved MK, tbh, and I didn't dislike this one, but there's a lot more comboing, counters and shit, which I think takes away from the game for casual gamers.

IOW, I can see hardcore fighting guys loving that shit, but for your day to day player, I don't think it's necessarily a plus.

Have you played any of the Telltales games?

If storytelling is your thing and you could care less about graphics, then try their Walking Dead, Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Bordelands games.

They're also working on a Batman game. First episode drops in a few days.

Amazing game.

It depends on how you play it. Game is supposed to be played stealthily. It's more rewarding killing or taking them out via non lethal means when they dont see it coming.

First time I played it I killed everything in sight alerting everyone and had a shitty time enjoying it because the enemies were unrelenting. Played it a second time being more careful and I breezed through the game. I felt good as fuck beating it like that.

if you like rpgs where you can do what you want then you'll not be a fan of telltale games. They're basically moving picture books, walk.....point.....cutscene.....repeat. After playing the walking dead i couldn't figure out what the fuss was it was boring.

there are people who post in a tech forum who haven't played / heard of Dishonored? it was published by Bethesda, Dishonored 2 is one of only a handful of games on my list to play.

that being said, I would recommend reading Sword of Destiny and Last Wish rather than starting up some inferior video game right away.

Oh man I love Dying Light. Don't judge it after the first hour or two though. It starts really slow when you're weak early on and only using pipes, table legs, and such. Dying Light really gets awesome once you can start finding sicles and swords. Also don't skip out on picking up the drops even though Rais' guys will be there if you're not really fast. Those drops help you level up and get those good weapons.

Did you get the full version with The Following DLC? If not that DLC is an absolute must once you beat the game. Dying Light is fucking crack man. If you don't believe me, ask DJR210 or Cry Havoc bro. It was my favorite game of 2015, and 2015 was an absolute stacked year for great games (Dying Light, Witcher 3, GTA V remaster, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain, Bloodborne, Batman Arkham Knight, etc.).

:tu I knew it was going to be good since Techland was developing it. I'm impressed with the parkour mechanics and the dread that comes with the sun going down. Getting chased back to your safe zone is a blast. I know I've barely even touched the surface of this game; I hope the storyline is longer than Riptide. Unfortunately I have the regular version with no DLC since it's from GameFly.

Same way I described the game when I first started.. Co-Op is a blast man, the zombie is so OP you absolutely MUST have a competent partner or two to have a shot of beating him. If he is ranked up and upgraded (which most are), forget about it w/ less than 4 decent players.

As for Riptide, it just seems that they started developing the game and spent all their heart and soul on the opening level and then just got bored as soon as the game starts.. They really, really rushed that shit, there is no where near the level of polish of Dying Light.

It's slow in the first couple of hours. It picks up bigtime and is awesome if you like open world games. The side quests are great and the combat is extremely satisfying when you're ready for a bit of the old ultraviolence. Plus you can always rub one out to Jade tbh. The only bad thing I can say about Dying Light is you need to get The Following DLC to complete the storyline. You don't get a real ending in the base game.

I really liked the game, but honestly I was ready for it to end when it did. The Following was almost too big that traveling around from location to location was a chore. Though I applaud them for excluding a fast travel feature. In the end I didn't complete all the secondary missions and just finished off the main story.
