So cooked chicken is ok? What about boiled or fried eggs?

You're welcome to make your own list. These are the top 10.

That's why their on the list. I didn't want it to be full of foods that no one had around or weren't common enough.
I could have said Ghost Pepper Sauce or Swordfish but one of those is obvious and the other, most people don't have it around all the time.

Reminds me of my childhood when my mom(my) would prepare me large fruit plates with 10+ different fruits on it each time. That would be my after-dinner dessert every evening before bed -- no cookies, cake or candy. Probably why I can't exceed 130 pounds no matter how much I try to eat today.

Mom's can be awesome. I never realized how much time and effort is involved in preparing foods. It just magically showed up. Me and my daughter will sometimes cook dinner. So we'll have the main course and two or three sides. I still can't figure out how to make it all done around the same time.

And as much as I'd like to have a bunch of different fruit at the same time, it's just too much of a pain.

She's awesome. But I don't expect her to crank out a full meal every night or cut up a bunch of fruit just because I want to have watermelon AND cantaloupe at the same time.

I don't get your question though. Are you saying you expect you're going to cook dinner for your husband every night?

Black pot calling the grey kettle black, tbh.

I used to have this black friend. Total pothead. One time he made a comment about one of our friends being "such a stoner". In my mind, I tried to make use of "pot calling the kettle black". Something to tie in pot and his being black.
But I could never get it to work. Black pothead calling.... That's the Black calling the pothead... Anyway, I hadn't thought about that in years. But still can't figure it out.
