R.I.P. While sad and unfortunate, IMO he went out at a fairly good time in his life. Everything was probably in good working order, and his quality of life hadn't dropped off significantly. The last thing I want to be is 80, can't walk, sleeping 70% of the day and my family and friends are taking advantage of me in some way. And even worse, being in the care of someone who clearly wouldn't want to take care of me. Early 70's seems like the best time to go.

I wonder if he died of a heart attack. Just reading Jemelle Hill's tweet makes me think that because she stated she hung out with him a week ago. Kind of implying he was in good health.

I'd say around 70.. Probably varies with each, to me 61 is my parents age so guess it just seems too young to die.

Yeah definitely something acute like a heart attack, stroke or kidney failure. Nothing chronic like cancer, Parkinson's, Lou Gehrig's, etc.

Or you can be like my great grandfather who lived to be 110 + a few month, no health problems, and died walking across the street hit by a drunk lady running a red light on a Sunday morning. Something acute like that after a long long happy life.

IDK, this was 1998, she's probably fat or dead by now tbh

ESPN made him an offer he couldn't refuse. He refused.

John Saunders was the most sober minded ESPN anchor. This is shocking to me.
