View Full Version : FBI requests Justice Department open case on Clinton Foundation...Justice declines

This administration is corrupt to the core. We are truly a banana republic.
"The Clinton Foundation was not part of the recent investigation into her private server; it was separate. The FBI went to Justice Department earlier this year asking for it to open a case into the foundation, but the public integrity unit declined. The Justice Department had looked into whether it should open a case on the foundation a year prior and found it didn't have sufficient evidence to do so."

Guess I should have started with the Washington Examiner article so people shit on it and then followed up with the CNN article. Liberals avoiding this thread like a Clinton rally.

She's the worst dem candidate ever, IMO. She's already at rock bottom when it comes to trust, tbh, I don't know how much more "damaging" this stuff really is to her.
It's pretty sad that "She's not Trump" is basically what's likely going to get her elected...

It also helps if the mainstream media and establishment is propping you up. Even if Assange has brutal evidence on her, the Free Shit Army or her supporters may not care.

That's mostly true, but let's not pretend the GOP didn't make their own bed on this. Ultimately, we got to this turd of candidates, now it's a binary choice.
The social conservative agenda is a hard sell from the get go, and on top of that you have ferret head at the other end of the stick, and a bunch of Looney Toons in the House.
I said it in another thread, Kasich wins this easy. I even think fatso would've given Shillary a run for her money. She's literally the worst Dem candidate ever.

Agreed. The GOP (and the voters) really fucked themselves here.

:lol I really couldn't stand Kasich. He seemed like a drunk faggot. I kinda liked Fatso, I think he would've been alright. My choice was Rand Paul but I'm not sure he had a real chance.
Agree what you're saying about Hillary. I thought about that earlier, that if she is already at this level corruption and distrust, how do you lead the way from there?

You only had to mildly appeal to the center and not insult every minority group... I mean, jeez, just run the same gameplan as Romney and you probably win in a landslide.
And yeah, this stuff is like "They found Patty Mills' wife number on Tony Parker's phone!". I mean, it doesn't excuse anything, but...
She's the worst dem candidate ever, IMO.
Isn't that too early to tell?
How do you know how she'll do as president? Worst than Carter? Guy is probably the less doer president we've had in our history.

Who said anything about president? I said she's the worst Dem candidate ever.
She polls terrible in trustworthiness, comes across as fake to every minority group, she's a well known neocon warhawk, was so unsure she could beat Bernie, she had to rig her way to the nomination and the list goes on and on. Her saving grace is that she's running against agent orange.
You saw the DNC, there's probably at least 2 or 3 better candidates right there...

I've always liked Kasich but his primary campaign was absolute shit. I think the Dems would have torn him up while he just plowed forward with his "can't we all just get along" strategy..
He's completely fucked it up now but I actually think Trump was the only one with a fighting chance given the electoral map. That's the sad state of the GOP.

He would've sewn up Ohio, and with a little pandering, PA. Picks Rubio for VP and Florida can be within reach (and not necessarily because hispanics love Rubio, but they're not enamored with Shillary either, and Rubio knows Florida well).
Gets the Koch/Adelson/NRA on board, enough cash to keep North Carolina, Arizona and Georgia red. At that point he's at 263... either Missouri, or a few combos (ie: New Hampshire/New Mexico) puts him over the top.
The "can't we all just get along" resonates well with the non-base voters, and that's what you need to win. Another plus for him was he didn't try to shove the religion/social conservative/2nd amendment agenda down people's throats (like ie: Cruz). That gets the base excited, but the base would've gone to bat with team red no matter what anyways. He would've looked like the reasonable candidate. Basically the exact opposite of what's going on right now.
I mean, would he have sold out to the usual suspects? Absolutely. But so do Shillary and Trump. Shillary is such a flawed candidate in so many ways, you put out there a guy that looks semi-decent and there's no way they don't beat her.

+1 ... she has to be one of the worst candidates ever. Jeb or Kasich would have crushed her. Trump might still do it if he can keep his trap shut.
The summary of this shit show is:
- If the election becomes all about Hillary, Trump wins
- If the election becomes all about Trump, Hillary wins
- However, both candidates want it to be all about Trump

Shocker, the only lib that shows up refuses to actually discuss the OP (Nono you don't count).
At least you showed up though, the rest of your ilk are too cowardly and would rather put on their blinders and pretend the DOJ isn't absolutely corrupt in protecting the Clinton Foundation.

I''ve always been fairly in the middle guy. Obviously lean left but I'm not a denier of facts.
Just because I prefer Clinton to Trump doesn't mean I dont think she's shit. I definitely think Bernie would have been a better choice just based on the fact that Hillary has too much baggage.
I like something that Kasich said when the primaries were going on that if Hillary was nominated she would need a seperate plane to carry all her baggage. Thought that was both funny and spot on.

From my understanding the DOJ looked into it and they found no sufficient evidence to open a formal probe. But I dont know. I'm not up to date on what's going on there.
I was under the impression the FBI could do their own investigation if they wanted. Dont know how that all works.

The DOJ looked into the year prior. The FBI came to them this year and asked them to open an investigation and I assume it was because of what they found in all of the deleted emails. It all makes sense now why Comey came out and broke protocol when smearing Clinton about her email/server set up after being shot down for the investigation he asked for.

Like you waited for more info on your previously refuted CNN source? :lol
A US Secret Service official confirms to CNN that the USSS has spoken to the Trump campaign regarding his Second Amendment comments.
"There has been more than one conversation" on the topic, the official told CNN.

Correct. I posted a link to a CNN story to inform the ST community of that report. I didn't demand members of this fine community to comment on said report, because it was from a single source.
You posted an unsourced paragraph in a CNN story, which has since been altered, and demanded members of this fine community to "discuss" as if it was documented proof.
If more details emerge, I'll be happy to "discuss"
