Kobe hasn’t spoken to his parents in nearly three years. Not since 2013, when they tried to auction off his high school memorabilia without his consent.
“Our relationship is sh*t,” he says. “I say [to them], ‘I’m going to buy you a very nice home, and the response is ‘That’s not good enough’?” he says. “Then you’re selling my sh*t?”

2008 is what made USA basketball relevant again, no thanks to Jim.

Creating your own nickname because no one else cared = :lmao

Doing so when you had the greatest nickname creator in the history of the NBA running your team = :lmao:lmao

The same guy who gave Tim his "Big Fundamental" nickname but didn't give you anything except "how my ass taste" = :lmao:lmao:lmao

Tim Duncan injured his knee in 2000, otherwise he would've won gold that year. Nine players quit the team in 04.

A bunch quit this year as well or flat out turned down the offer.

I mean, how "glorious" is a medal if guys decide they'd rather spend the summer in the Hamptons than play in the Olympics? The real athletes who do that shit spend their lives trying to get there and it's the pinnacle of their careers. NBA players are grossly wealthy and it's a side show attraction for them.

Players quit this year because no one wanted that goddamn Zika virus.

:lol Jim committed SEVEN turnovers against Puerto Rico, and scored only 6 points in the Bronze Medal game, less than Iverson scored, less than Boozer scored, less than Shawn Marion scored, less than Marbury scored. :lol
