You can't win with a corpse playing major minutes. You can't even compete. Argentina learned the hard way and got demolished by 40 year old Pau Gasol.

Spurs if they play Manu major minutes will also get demolished. Guaransheed.

Pop needs to play Manu as the 12th man and we might have a shot in hell....

The guy has been finished since 2011 time to move on

Arg didn't have a C and also didn't have a PF to replace Scola. That's why. There isn't even 1 good C in the entire country, and once Scola is gone, there also won't be a single PF. We're fine with PGs, SGs, and SFs..

:lol what do you mean "now"? I'm pretty sure you've brought up Tony's shot in 2013 more than once, along with all the other weak shit you post on the regular...

ARG was a team clearly past their prime, tbh, but for those that actually watched the games, the starters were actually the strong point...

At least this time we not a title contender so Manu losing a medal won't hurt us like last time in 2012 when he came after losing a medal which put him in miserable, quitting and to not care about the Spurs wich made him to have pathetic season and to kill us in 2013 finals...

Fair enough, but it's kind of weird to compare a game-tying 3, steal, and go ahead bucket at the end of the game to a dunk in the middle of game.

Manu was not the issue for Argentina. Apparently hater hates actually watching the game, where he would have realized they were vastly undersized.

Manu continues to be one of the top two guards in the league on a per minute basis. Yes, he's limited when he goes beyond 18-20/game, but in those minutes, I'll take him over all but about five guys at his position.

Not to mention his HUGE three against the OKC thunder that saved us. He shot well and played his ass off in those finals too, so he was not done in 2011 that is bullshit. I will say in `13 he played bad and looked done in the finals, the next year he redeemed himself though and played his ass off. Game 7 against Dallas too he showed up, big game as well. He was not done.

Argentina qmwon the gold with Fabricio Boberto

Oberto was a dominant player playing for his NT...He made players like Divac look really bad during his international career. Also, he was Tim's best defender in Athens 2004.

Like others said here, Manu's team really needed a big like Oberto who can defend, rebound and eventually score in P&R situations

Most perimeter guys outside of Kawhi/Green do on our squad on many nights.

Manu earned the right to go out how he wants. And if he wants to play more when able, in the limited games he plays , then he deserves it.
