This is one of the legitimate issues that Europe will face. The men that are coming over are of 2 types:
1. Those with wives and families back home: they smuggle themselves into Europe and once granted asylum, they presumably want to bring over their families without having to put them through an arduous and risky journey
2. Unaccompanied men: mostly teenagers and young adults. They will cause an imbalance in the sex ratio of the host country which will eventually lead to crime

This is only an issue with mainland Europe though. The UK, the US and Canada all have strict vetting in place that allows them to (a) take very few refugees compared to mainland Europe and (b) control the demographic characteristics of refugees.

However, that hasn't stopped the Daily Mail and Fox News from pretending that the UK and the US are besieged by male refugees. Germany OTOH, is asking for trouble.
