Is this like that chicken crossing the road joke?

Why did the pau reject ssn San Antonio? To get to Chicago.

Or basically what we've always known :[

. Most likely, his reason for choosing Chicago was the promise of starting, which would have been tough alongside Duncan and Tiago Splitter, who was a Spur back in 2014.

Q: Why was Pau so passive on offense last year?

A: Because Chicago already had enough shootings without him.

Too bad there wasn't a long-ass thread about it.

That is the worst joke ever. Could of just said shooters instead of shootings then would have sounded better

Isn't it a play on the Chicago's recent shootings?

Not saying the joke was good or bad, just saying "shootings" is probably on purpose.

It's really kind of sad that Duncan retired this season. Having Pau Gasol start and Tim coming off the bench would have provided the Spurs with just awesome depth. Pau obviously signed with the Spurs knowing he will be one of the quaterbacks out there, it seems he likes to be a real team leader which is great for this team.

He was gonna sign with the Spurs until Chicago finally agreed to amnesty boozer and offer pau more than the MLE that we were offering

So Pau did not clearly say, nor even come close to saying why he did not sign in summer 2014.
And we read between his mumblings as he was pouting because he was not promised to start.
Wanted to start for a shitty team rather then contribute solid minutes on a Champ team.

Pussy.

Gasoft wanted high end p*ssy in Chicago and to be "one of the leaders" on a team that wasn't gonna ring instead of humbling himself and going for a ring or two in Mexicoville. He's not a high character guy. Medium character guy, sure. So, we'll see.

No. Spurs were above the cap then, and only had the MLE to offer pau. The spurs had to stay above the cap in order to resign guys like Mills, diaw, and porker

At first the Bulls were over the cap and were only able to match the MLE offer which is why pau was leaning SA. Then Bulls amnestied boozer and offered pau more
