Yep. Iconic play.

The epic ref fuck up will make it even more memorable. Kinda like the replacement refs screwing the Green Bay Packers against the Seahawks.

"Oklahoma State fans were livid, and they can now relate to Duke fans who watched their team lose a game on a multilateral kickoff return touchdown to Miami last season that the Atlantic Coast Conference later said should not have counted. Or maybe go back to 1990, when officials mistakenly gave Colorado five downs to score the game-winning touchdown against Missouri in the waning seconds.

Central Michigan is unlikely to go on to win a national title the way those Buffaloes did, but it will still go down as one of the biggest wins in school history."

lmao College football

And Missouri fans, who watched Colorado get a ghost 5th down thanks to inept refs. A great goal line stand wasted because the refs couldn't do their job of keeping track of the downs. CU of course scored the winning TD on that 5th down.

Speaking of football lore, Michigan scored over 2000 points from 1901 to 1905 only giving up....36. They only lost one game, 2-0 in the last game of 1905.

An all black HS in Tennesse had a season where they were unscored on, and no opponet crossed the 50 yard line on them.

Can't forget Georgia Tech 222 Cumberland 0.
