Tim will probably make them do it at 2PM the day before a game against Denver.

The longer we wait before hearing about a jersey retirement, the more interesting it gets.

Some say that Timmy's jersey will be the first to ever be hung with the front side showing. Team player, tbh.

2021. They'll retire Manu (20) and Tim's (21) jersey at the same time.

This is probably more likely than this coming season tbh

Haven't heard anything from the Spurs ST wise, we're usually the first to find out that stuff

Tim gets a statue of himself, another one of him with Pop, then a third with David, and lastly one as a member of the Big Three.. tbh.

Individual game tickets go on sale a day or two after media day. That's when we should find out.
It will likely be an early November game that needs a little boost to get a full house, so I'd bet on November 1st vs Utah. There are also the connections with Boris, George Hill, and the coaching and FO staffs.

Solid guess Mel.
I know they are coming out with special edition TD retirement jerseys with all of his accomplishments on there, but only 200 or so will be made.

Also I'm still beholden to your advice a few years ago about season ticket packages vs stubhub and other ticket services. :toast

That would be disappointing. I remember when Ice got his jersey retired they did it when Jordan came to town, and the Spurs beat Chicago's ass that night.

1st home game is like oct 29 no? Would a game 2 days after the home opener have attendance issues?

No word yet because HE is coming back at some point after the All-Star break to prep for one more run at Title #6, tbh.

I had a dream Tim came back for another season last night. This thread just reminded me of it. He was limping after the first pre-season game but said he was going to tough it out for one more run.

If his new D &D campaign runs over, ceremony will be moved to the following season.

There is a part of me that has come to think that's exactly what will happen.
The Spurs have told Tim that they intend to retire his jersey; Tim has refused to participate in a ceremony to do that; and fans will just happen to notice that 21 has been added to the retired jerseys.
That's a bit sarcastic, but only a bit.

FO still trying to figure out what to do since they had planned Dominque's jersey retirement this year too.
