I would pull for Arizona. I think Tampa is a pretty good team and the biggest threat to you guys winning the division. Cards peaked last season.

Saints will bounce back. They should have won last weekend. The offense is as good as it's been since 2011 and the defense will improve as the season progresses.

was a fun game that could have swung either way... unfortunately it came down to that PI on robertson. that pass was probably going out of bounds anyway, or at the very least would be caught out of bounds, but he never turned his head back to make a play on the ball and stupidly bushed the back when there was absolutely no need to...

The Saints also benefited from 2 or 3 questionable PI calls in the game, so I won't make an excuse as to that call being the reason we lost. The Raiders still made the plays they needed to after that call, which isn't easy, especially that very low percentage pass play call on the 2 point conversion.

Really struggling with tonights game from even a SU perspective.

And this is a big game in only week two, 0-2 is not good.

Bills are 3-3 SU on TNF. 3-1 vs the div ATS.
Jets are 3-6 SU on TNF.

The home team is 4-0 in Jets TNF games, ATS.

Buffalo has covered the last 5 vs the Jets.

So it does look like the Bills have the trends advantage. But, the Jets haven't started out 0-2 since 2007, but the Bills haven't gone 0-2 since 2010.

I do like that Jets D.

This is a tough one. Hmmmmmm.....I guess I;m stuck with just going with the home team, yep, that is wimpy. I am talking SU.

i actually thought most of the PI calls were justified, there was one sideline call that got on my nerves... but majority were warranted because brees was shredding them.

and yeah, i hate lob/fades on must-have downs. i view them as coinflips, and i dont mind taking a shot like that on 1st or 2nd down, but i hated that play on the conversion. but can't really complain with the w

Depends on the receiver. A big guy like Mike Evans or AJ Green or even just a grown-ass man like Boldin is going to get that damned ball.

that's true, while Crabs has great hands, i don't know if he's one of those guys, though its clear the coaches think he is (he also caught a game tying TD against the chargers last year, same way)

I think I saw that game. But yeah, if you can get your number-one wideout isolated on a corner, it makes sense. Surprised it wasn't Cooper, though. But I've always liked Crabtree after he took UT's cookie all those years ago. Glad to see he's over Jimmy Smith pushing his shit in.

the chargers game i referenced was on christmas eve iirc, so its probably the one.

as for cooper/crabtree... crabtree plays much more physical and has huge/sticky hands, so i see why they like him over cooper in those spots.

With how bad the Rams look... but then again it's in LA and they're always ultra shitty on the road. They might beat the Niners in Buffalo. They'll win the home game against the Browns, one against Miami, and maybe the home game against Jacksonville...

Eagles fans know all about McCoy. Kind of like with their previous dancing smaller "eluder" running back in Westbrook, it was always either negative yardage or +15... rarely anything like steady 3, 4, 5, 6 yard runs like the downhill runners produce.

Nah, 28 is the 30 for running-backs. Not saying he's done. But definite reason to suspect he's declining.

He was even shittier versus Baltimore. He let a corner continuously take his cookie. And I was only around for the Westbrook era. Loved him. Loved the Eagles back then, since it was before I could consistently get Ravens games in Texas.

Studying the TrendNo one should be surprised that quarterbacks and running backs have highly contrasting rates of decline, but the divide in their productivity is even wider than I would have guessed. I’m not seeing the infamous 30-year-old wall that many people think running backs hit. Instead, their decline is pretty dramatic and consistent after 26.
http://www.profootballfocus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/RB_composite03_sm.jpg (http://www.profootballfocus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/RB_composite03_sm.jpg)
In redraft leagues, owners pay a premium for rushers who aren’t members of a committee backfield. However, if you’re fairly new to dynasty leagues, you’ll quickly realize that you have to weigh the scarcity of featured backs against their short-lived productivity. This is why running backs have less value in leagues that carry players over from year to year.
It’s also critical in dynasty to successfully scout rookie running backs. Capitalizing on those early years of production can really give your team a boost.

https://www.profootballfocus.com/age-of-decline-rb1/

And despite what this article says, the curve speeds up quite a bit after 28.

As far as 28 being the new 30, technically, it's the new 29.5

http://www.profootballfocus.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/RB_byDecade03_sm.jpg

Anyway, there's just no point to worry about RBs aging. Just get a new one. They're so easy to find nowadays that it doesn't make sense to draft one high, or pay one or use one a ton.

Age in sports is very individualistic, hell, we just saw a sprinter named Kim Collins running PR's at 40. Linford Christie was a grandpa when he won the Olympic 100m. The top ranked sprinter in the world in 2015 was 33 year old Justin Gatlin. How old is Usain Bolt?

Don't get silly over a couple games early in a season. McCoy is a quality RB, one of the best in the NFL, and that should be obvious, I see no decline at all in his game and 2015 proved he still has it.

And, the running game is far more important than what rookies try to make out of it. The first thing ya do is keep your QB out of third and long, the second thing ya do is keep their offense off the field and the third thing ya do is beat down a defense. This....any RB will do....hell no! And, how do ya run out the clock nursing a lead without a stud running game?

Manning was 39 years old when he lost his job last year. Brady is 39 years old right now.

Garoppolo was also a 2nd round pick from a DI school, not sure where you got division II from.

You're just making stuff up at this point.
Brady is still physically capable of throwing a football. Physically, he's 39 going on 29. Fivehead was 39 going on 60. It's dishonest to just compare their ages and ignore Fivehead's neck injury and its lasting effects.

It's also just a terrible comparison. Osweiler sucked badly enough for Peyton to get his job back in time for the playoffs. Garoppolo isn't sucking at all.

I absolutely hate defending that choking loser, but it's just a totally different situation.

:lol I like how you don't address the division II thing you completely made up.

You also brought up age when you lied about Peyton's age and said he was 40. Now you're saying their age doesn't matter?

You also just admitted Peyton lost his job to a QB who sucked. Brady hasn't even lost his job yet, and unlike Peyton the backup is actually playing well.
