The important thing to remember is that the objective truth of Donald Trump's views on any particular subject should not be assessed in light of what he actually said or wrote about it. He's an entertainer, really, and he just says things to drive the brand.

So, the fact checkers can get bogged down in the things that are actually on the record, but what really matters in proving the depth of Donald's Trump truth on any particular subject is what Donald Trump was thinking and, more importantly, what he remembers now about what he was thinking a long time ago.

And, really, in that light, can you actually dispute the truth of his claims to have believed or not believed certain things many years ago?

[/blue]

I take it fairly similarly. Trump is an entertainer.

Even so, if he blathers on like this constantly, how the fuck can you actually know what this twat believes/thinks?

If only 5% of it is his real thoughts, which 5%?

All that aside, he has yet to show he has any grasp of ... anything other than how great he wants us to think he is.

Donald Trump bows out of 2012 US presidential election race
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/may/16/donald-trump-us-presidential-race

http://www.tvguide.com/news/donald-trump-presidential-campaign-timeline/

1987-1988: Trump considers a run for president, while simultaneously juggling large debts stemming from his purchase of the Taj Mahal casino.

2000: Trump enters the presidential race as a Reform Party candidate and receives more than 15,000 votes in the party's California primary.

2003-2004: Trump begins hosting the reality show The Apprentice on NBC, which he also executive-produces. He again mulls a run for president, but ultimately decides not to join the race.

March 2011: A Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll shows Trump leading all presidential contenders, including Mitt Romney.

April 2011: Amid more research polls indicating that he would be the preferred Republican presidential candidate among voters, Trump repeatedly calls for President Obama to release his long-form birth certificate, questioning whether Obama was actually born in the United States. (Obama eventually complies and releases the birth certificate.)

May 2011: Trump officially announces that he will not run for president.

February 2012: Trump endorses Republican candidate Mitt Romney for president.

2013: Trump forms a presidential exploratory committee and, despite a strong backing from Republican voters, announces that he has no interest in running for governor of New York in 2014.

Cheers. Actually, Trump's words have no meaning to me, because there's virtually nothing that would convince me to vote for him. Had the Republicans run a serious candidate in this election, I might very well have voted for that person. But Trump isn't a serious candidate (though he may win) and I can't demean myself enough to waste a vote for that office on someone who's essentially a clown.

Oh, and Hillary was a politician when her husband was President? Was Laura Bush a politician between 2000 and 2008? Just curious.

Hillary has held political positions since the early 70's when she worked for Walter Mondale and George McGovern.

Trump defended the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk policy. The NYPD said Trump got the facts wrong.

Even the New York City Police Department fact-checked the debate.

Some of the NYPD’s claims here are questionable. US District Court Judge Shira Scheindlin really did find in 2013 that stop and frisk, as the NYPD enforced it, was unconstitutional (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/23/nyregion/appeals-court-refuses-for-now-to-overturn-stop-and-frisk-ruling.html). So Clinton’s claim, despite the NYPD’s insistence otherwise, was right.

Donald Trump claimed that the end of New York City’s stop-and-frisk policy led to a rise in murders

So Trump was simply wrong — and the NYPD, at least to some extent, disagrees with him, even as he tries to prop up a policy the police department once enforced.

http://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2016/9/28/13093560/trump-stop-and-frisk-nypd

So Hillary, the lawyer, was right.

Trash, the lying bullshitter, was totally wrong, yet again.

Fox News Vice President to Hannity: Stop using bullshit polls claiming Trump won debate

Sean Hannity has reportedly been reprimanded by Fox News for using inaccurate online polls to try to prove that Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in Monday night’s debate.

Hours after the debate, Hannity said (http://www.businessinsider.com/fox-news-donald-trump-debate-polls-2016-9) “I’ll give you the list of polls. Time Magazine, Drudge report, CNBC, The Hill, CBS. The only one that has Hillary winning is CNN and they’re the Clinton News Network anyway.”

Hannity claimed that “hundreds of thousands if not millions” of participants chose Trump as the victor in various online polls. However, professional pollsters say that the number of respondents is not nearly as important as whether the respondents reflect the population that the poll is claiming to represent.

Fox News hosts Steve Doocy and Martha MacCallum also misrepresented the polls on their programs. Doocy said “I think a majority of the online polls show, according to the stuff we saw this morning, they show that he’s leading,” later adding as an afterthought that “It’s not scientific.”

MacCallum didn’t identify her sources as online polls at all, saying only that “A lot of polls show him winning last night,” she said. “Fascinating, right? It’s fascinating.”

A memo from Fox News vice president of public-opinion research Dana Blanton has since been acquired by Business Insider (http://www.businessinsider.com/fox-news-online-debate-polls-trump-drudge-2016-9), in which the VP tells the hosts to stop citing these misleading polls.

“As most of the publications themselves clearly state, the sample obviously can’t be representative of the electorate because they only reflect the views of those Internet users who have chosen to participate,” Blanton wrote.

Poll: After Debate, Women Think Less of Trump and Better of Clinton

Twenty-seven percent of likely women voters said the debate made them think worse of Trump.

Meanwhile, nearly a third, or 30 percent, said their opinion of Clinton had improved, compared to 22 percent of men.

Women were also far likelier to say Clinton won the debate, by a 10-point margin over men.

"I'm undecided, but I'm leaning more towards Hillary than I ever have before because of the debate," said Joan Hume, a 71-year-old retiree in Fairfield, Ohio who said she voted for Trump in the Republican primary because she wanted to "see Washington shaken up."

Hume added, "There's a side of him that's scary to me that I'm seeing more of. I thought maybe he would change when he got the nomination, but he's getting worse."

Since the 1988 presidential election, Trump has been considered a potential candidate for President in nearly every election.[29][30][31] In October 1999, Trump declared himself a potential candidate for the Reform Party's presidential nomination,[32] but withdrew on February 14, 2000.[33] In 2004, Trump said that he identified as a Democrat.[34] Trump rejoined the Republican Party in 2009.

In early 2011, presidential speculation reached its highest point and Trump began to take a lead in polls among Republican candidates in the 2012 election. At the 2011 Conservative Political Action Conference, Trump said he is "pro-life" and "against gun control".[35][36][37] He also spoke before Tea Party supporters.[38][39][40]

Early polls had Trump among the leading candidates.[41][42][43][44] In December 2011, Trump placed sixth in the "ten most admired men and women living of 2011" USA Today/Gallup telephone survey.[45] However, Trump announced in May 2011 that he would not be a candidate for the office.[46][47]

In 2013, Trump researched a possible run for President of the United States in 2016.[48] In October 2013, New York Republicans suggested Trump should run for governor of the state in 2014.[49] In February 2015, Trump did not renew his television contract for The Apprentice, which raised speculation of his candidacy for president of the United States in 2016.[50] Later that year, Trump was a featured speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference.[51]

Not sure why you were too lazy to look this stuff up, it really wasn't hard.
