One can hope that Trump will be called to the mat for his stupid ideas.
As Hillary Clinton prepares for the the first presidential debate on Monday evening, the Wall Street Journal reports that she’s readying her answers for two Trumps: one, the freewheeling candidate who shuns the teleprompter at some events, and one who sticks to prepared texts at others.
Trump is lost without a teleprompter. He just doesn't have the mental fortitude to be able to spit out more than a paragraph from prepared notes either.
I think we will continue to see the double standard.
Hopefully the media will still be pissed about the birther anouncement thing.

The moderator(s) should know their stuff and counter, challenge, right on the spot any bullshit.
like Trash lying that he was against the Iraq war
what does Trash have to hide by not releasing his tax returns
Ask Trash to defend Trash University, now going to trial.
like Trash lying that Hillary started Obama birterism.
How is Trash going to force MX to pay for his wall
Ask Trash why he ignores the studies that say stop-and-frisk was really ineffective against crime, but very effective in alienating blacks and browns
etc, etc.
Trash, dickless as ever, has already said he expects to be treated unfairly, and will very probably trash the moderators later like he trashed the pastor in Detroit after she, "nervous mess", interrupted his political bullshit.

With an informed voter base, the moderator wouldn't need to step in at all. But this is the American public. A staggeringly high number of people think Obama is a Muslim, Bush planned 9-11, America literally gave Iran nukes, etc. IMO, once a topic has been discussed, before moving on to the next question, the moderator needs to inform the audience of at least the top 3-5 lies uttered on the topic.

There's absolutely no purpose to a debate if they're just going to make shit up as they go along and they let it slide.
If Trump starts saying shit like "there were thousands of muslims cheering at 9/11 in new jersey" and he isn't corrected, it's dangerous. For many people, they don't keep up with politics/news on a daily basis but they'll tune into the debates.
They're allowed to argue policy and have disagreements, naturally. But when it comes to misrepresentation of facts... fuck no.

I guess you also believe that Planned Parenthood illegaly sold baby parts, the IRS targeted conservative groups only, and there are no-go zones for non-Muslims in Britain, right?

Ultimately, my reference was to intellect. The ability to understand and reason your positions, and be able to eloquently express them.

Here's What the Moderator Should Ask Clinton and Trump at Their First Debate
For Trump:
- Vladimir Putin, whom you have praised (http://www.politico.com/story/2015/12/trump-praises-putin-216929) as a "strong leader" and a better one than President Barack Obama, has subjected protesters to forced labor and jail time, cracked down on internet freedom, and targeted the LGBT community. Journalists and political opponents of Putin have been murdered. Is this your definition of strong leadership?
- As president, would you lift US sanctions imposed on Russia following its annexation of Crimea?
- Your charitable organization, the Trump Foundation, recently paid a penalty to the IRS for an illegal five-figure donation to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, whose office was considering investigating Trump University. And recentWashington Post stories reveal how you've used the foundation for your own personal benefit, such as buying a six-foot-tall portrait of yourself (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/a-clue-to-the-whereabouts-of-the-6-foot-tall-portrait-of-donald-trump/2016/09/14/ae65db82-7a8f-11e6-ac8e-cf8e0dd91dc7_story.html), and to cover your own personal financial obligations (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/trump-used-258000-from-his-charity-to-settle-legal-problems/2016/09/20/adc88f9c-7d11-11e6-ac8e-cf8e0dd91dc7_story.html), perhaps in violation of federal law. You have called the Clinton Foundation a pay-to-play criminal enterprise that must be shut down. So what will happen to the Trump Foundation if you are elected?
- In January you said you would turn your company—which has deep business relationships with companies and financiers in China, Russia, Turkey, India, and elsewhere—over to your children to run if you were elected president. Previous presidents have put their assets in a blind trust to avoid even the appearance of conflicts of interest. But that's not possible in this instance. So how can you deal with other countries when your family business has its own, and perhaps competing, interests in these nations?
- You owe Deutsche Bank hundreds of millions of dollars (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/09/donald-trump-and-deutsche-bank) at the same time that US regulators are seeking a $14 billion payment from the bank for its contribution to the financial crisis. How could you pursue the Justice Department's action against Deutsche Bank fairly and dispassionately when you're so indebted to it?
- A policy posted on your website calls for a complete indefinite ban on Muslims entering the United States. How do you tell if someone is a Muslim?
- Numerous terrorism experts have said your extreme rhetoric and proposals regarding Muslims hurt counterterrorism efforts by alienating
Muslims at home and abroad who are necessary to the fight against ISIS, and that they help ISIS recruit supporters by allowing it to argue that the United States is targeting the Muslim religion. Do you really know more about this matter than all these experts?
- You also said you know more about ISIS than the generals. Do you actually believe that? Can you tell us how many troops ISIS has, where its strongholds are, who make up its top command, and what the best locations are to mount military attacks against ISIS targets?
- Why do you keep insisting you were against the war in Iraq when you're on the public record supporting the invasion before the war? Have you been lying about this?
- If elected, you have promised to renegotiate the United States' debt. This is a strategy that's possible in business, but many economists believe it would raise the cost of future borrowing and bring financial ruin to the country and the world economy. Are all the economists wrong?
- You say you want to reach out to African American voters. So why then did you call for a return to stop-and-frisk, a policy that has disproportionately affected African Americans and Latinos and that was ruled unconstitutional by a federal judge?
- You blamed Hillary Clinton for starting the Barack Obama birther conspiracy; virtually every fact-checker has deemed that a lie. You also claimed that you put the matter to rest by forcing the president to release his long-form birth certificate. So why, for years afterward, did you continue to question whether he was born in the United States? And why did you say your investigators in Hawaii found material that supposedly supported your birther claims?
- In recent years, you've repeatedly promoted other conspiracy theories: that Ted Cruz's father played a role in the JFK assassination, that vaccines cause autism, that Obama was a founder of ISIS. Why do you keep making these bizarre claims?
- You've had the vocal support of white supremacists like David Duke and leaders of the alt-right movement, and at times you and your advisers have retweeted their incendiary tweets. You also appeared on Alex Jones' talk show and called him "amazing." Jones is a 9/11 truther who has suggested that the Sandy Hook massacre never happened and that the government is deliberately (http://www.rawstory.com/2015/09/forget-his-911-truther-tirades-here-are-7-of-alex-jones-most-unhinged-conspiracy-theories/) turning kids gay by sneaking estrogen into juice boxes. Will you take this opportunity to renounce all these folks and say you don't welcome the support of racists and other extremists?
- You have made illegal immigration a top issue. Yet your modeling agency recruited models who worked in the United States without the right immigration papers (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/08/donald-trump-model-management-illegal-immigration). Isn't that hypocrisy?
- You often say you hire only the "best people," yet you have gone through multiple campaign managers in less than a year. Did you not hire the "best people"? Why should voters believe that you would do better with important positions in your administration?
- In a 2007 deposition (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/09/donald-trump-lies-about-dealings-mafia-figures), you said under oath that you have never associated with anyone you knew to be affiliated with organized crime. Yet in the early 1980s you leased property for an Atlantic City casino from two men linked to the Mafia. And in 1999, you told the Associated Press, "I build buildings. I have to deal with the unions, the mob, some of the roughest men you've ever seen in your life." So did you lie during that deposition?
- After the mass shooting in Orlando, you said LGBT Americans should vote for you and that your proposed ban on immigration from certain countries would protect LGBT people. But you have appeared at several events organized by anti-LGBT organizations, declared your support for the North Carolina bathroom bill, and proposed possible Supreme Court nominees who oppose LGBT rights. So why should any LGBT person take you seriously?
- In a 2015 interview, you said (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/09/trump-dismisses-50-percent-america-deplorables), "The problem we have right now—we have a society that sits back and says we don't have to do anything. Eventually, the 50 percent cannot carry—and it's unfair to them—but cannot carry the other 50 percent." This suggests you share the view that Mitt Romney expressed in 2012: that 47 percent of Americans are freeloaders who won't take responsibility for their own lives. Isn't that insulting to half of Americans?
- You say you're under audit so you can't release your tax returns. That didn't stop Richard Nixon. But would you allow a neutral third party to review your tax forms from the past 10 years and release publicly your income, your income sources, your effective tax rate, and your charitable contributions?
- Hillary and Bill Clinton attended your third wedding (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/03/17/the-wedding-that-explains-the-election.html). Why did you invite them? Did you like them personally at the time?
- On many occasions you have failed to pay contractors (http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/01/donald-trump-lawsuits-legal-battles/84995854/)—often small businesses—who have done work for you and your properties. Earlier this year, before she was working for you, your current campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, said (http://mediamatters.org/research/2016/08/19/here-s-how-trump-s-new-campaign-manager-attacked-him-cable-news-pundit/212524) of you, "He says he's for the little guy, but he's actually built a lot of his businesses on the backs of the little guy…through not paying contractors after you've built something. The little guys have suffered." How can voters be assured that if elected you will care about working men and women?
- You had to pay a $750,000 fine when the Justice Department charged you with violating Wall Street trading rules. The Securities and Exchange Commission cited your company for issuing inaccurate earnings information. The Federal Election Commission fined you for exceeding the annual limit on campaign contributions. The New York State lobbying commission imposed a $250,000 fine on you for failing to disclose the full extent of your lobbying of state legislators. Should people call you Crooked Donald?
For Clinton:
- You said (http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/clinton-us-should-use-military-response-fight-cyberattacks-russia-china-1579187) recently that the United States should consider a "military response" to the hacking conducted by other nations. What do you have in mind? And could the US government ever conclusively identify those responsible for any given attack?
- Is it still possible to defeat ISIS and Syrian President Bashar Assad at the same time? How would your anti-ISIS policy differ from what President Obama has been doing?
- Obama campaigned in 2008 on bridging the partisan divide. Now things are more polarized than ever. Why do you think you can work better and more productively with Republicans in Congress than Obama has?
- You have claimed that you used a private email server for convenience. But a report by the State Department's inspector general found that in 2010 you told an aide who suggested you use a department email that "I don't want any risk of the personal being accessible." Did you use your private server merely for convenience, or were you trying to avoid having to comply with public records laws that might compel you to release information you did not want the public to see?
- Last year, you suggested that Black Lives Matter activists propose clear policy ideas instead of only protesting. In August, a collective of activists released "A Vision for Black Lives," a document outlining policies that could be enacted to help black America. Have you looked at that document? Would you work to enact any of the policy proposals offered by the activists?
- Why have you repeatedly praised Henry Kissinger, whose underhanded and covert diplomacy led to brutal massacres (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2014/09/hillary-clinton-henry-kissinger-world-order) around the globe, including in Chile, Argentina, East Timor, and Bangladesh?
- With competition falling on the Affordable Care Act marketplaces, some Democrats in Congress are calling for the public option—a policy that you have said you support. But health care reform is a hard sell on Capitol Hill, as you know from your own experience in the 1990s. Would you make the public option a priority as president?
- You've announced steps to distance yourself from the Clinton Foundation should you become president. But was it a mistake for the foundation to accept large donations from foreign individuals and entities while you were in charge of US foreign policy and would soon run for the presidency? Are people wrong to wonder if contributors to the foundation were trying to win favor with you and you might be more amenable to their requests and preferences?
- Would you consider it unseemly for four of the past five presidents to come from two families? What does this say about the United States and its political system?
- It took you more than eight months this year to hold your first press conference. Why did you hide for so long from the reporters who cover you the most? Don't you think the public deserves to have its politicians vigorously questioned by the press?
- As secretary of state, you served as something of a global fracking evangelist (http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2014/09/hillary-clinton-fracking-shale-state-department-chevron). What would you say to Americans whose neighborhoods have suffered drinking-water contamination (http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2013/10/radioactivity-fracking-waste-pennsylvania) and earthquakes (http://www.motherjones.com/environment/2013/03/does-fracking-cause-earthquakes-wastewater-dewatering) as a result of fracking?
- Do you think it's not too late to stop global warming? Can major climate initiatives be undertaken by executive order, or will you need to win the cooperation of Congress?
- You and your husband have earned tens of millions of dollars giving paid speeches, including to various Wall Street and big finance firms. In one case, your husband pocketed $250,000 for speaking to a so-called vulture fund (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016/06/bill-clinton-gave-six-figure-speech-vulture-fund-apollo) that has purchased companies, saddled them with debt, and laid off employees to extract the maximum profits. Why should Americans believe you will rein in Wall Street abuses or that you have their economic interests at heart?
- You served in the US Senate for eight years. Donald Trump says the political system is rigged—and that he has benefited by buying influence with lobbyists and contributions. In your time in the Senate, did you see evidence that legislators are indeed influenced by big-money interests and contributors? Can you give examples?
- You attended Donald Trump's third wedding (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/03/17/the-wedding-that-explains-the-election.html). Why? Did you like him personally? And why do you think he invited you and your husband?

boutons deux is Jacques Chirac.
The debate will only mean something if Trump is completely out of character, and comes across as acceptably competent and stable for the duration.
It could also expose Hillary as more "sick" than we have been led to understand, or allay those fears because she's fine.
Of course if there is any danger that she is actually in danger of physically not making it through the debate, I expect some incident to occur this weekend that gives her reason to bow out; probably Trump being too immature and not worth her time type controversy.

The Cuban ploy is brilliant. Dems should put a spotlight on him so Trash can see him clearly, rather than hidden in the darkened seats.
Cuban will grimace, guffaw, laugh, shake his head, etc and Trash's two-bit-punk thin skin will bleed.
I bet anything that Trash, for one reason, or a question, or gotcha by Hillary, will lose it and go full insane, improv, bullshitting Trash, right down to his low bar, before 10Ms of viewers.

Just make it simpler.
If Trump mentions or talks about Cuban, bookaki wins and you have to leave.
There is a good chance Trump sees him sitting there and gets baited into a comment.

TRUMP WARNS THAT CLINTON WILL RIG DEBATE BY USING FACTS
TOLEDO — At a campaign rally on Friday, Donald Trump warned that Hillary Clinton is scheming to “rig the debate by using facts” in their first televised face-off, on Monday.
“You just watch, folks,” Trump told supporters in Toledo, Ohio. “Crooked Hillary is going to slip in little facts all night long, and that’s how she’s going to try to rig the thing.”
“It’s a disgrace,” he added.
The billionaire drew a sharp contrast between himself and the former Secretary of State by claiming that his debate prep “involved no facts whatsoever.”
“I am taking a pledge not to use facts at the debate,” he said, raising his right hand. “I challenge Crooked Hillary to take that pledge.”
He also warned that unless CNN, which is hosting the debate, promises to forbid the use of facts, he might pull out of Monday’s contest.
“I’m only going to debate if I’m treated fairly, and facts don’t treat me fairly,” he said.
At CNN, a spokesperson assured Trump that the network would do everything in its power to keep the debate “as free of facts as possible.”
“We have a well-established practice at CNN,” the spokesperson said. “If the candidates start straying into facts, data, or other verifiable information, we have instructed the moderators to cut them off.”

A debate is just one party trying to make his case while the other person tries to make theirs. The best way to beat someone in a debate is to prove them wrong and build up your own case. What better way to do that then call the other party out with facts? If trump is such a liar and Hillary knows so much about the political life of this nation then she should have no problem discerning fact from fiction without a helper.

You can't talk about the issues while also pointing out every Trump lie.

Near Absence Of Trump Campaign’s Latest Russia Problem From Sunday Shows Follows A Familiar Pattern
CNN’s Jake Tapper was the only Sunday show host on September 25 to discuss a report that American intelligence officials are probing Russian government ties to a man Trump has identified as a foreign policy adviser, Carter Page.
This latest revelation is yet another missed opportunity by the Sunday political talk shows to feature investigative stories about Trump and his campaign over the past month.
The near blackout of this story from the Sunday shows is turning into a familiar pattern regarding investigative reports on Trump.
Over the past month, the Sunday political talk shows have repeatedly failed to feature new reporting that reflects poorly on Trump.

Trump’s tweet was total insanity. Hillary Clinton has nothing to do with Gennifer Flowers.
Trump is mad at Mark Cuban because he is a billionaire, and he points out that Donald Trump is a fraud.
The Gennifer Flowers threat was just more of Trump flying off the handle and talking out of his backside.
Mike Pence was left to clean up Trump’s mess on Fox News Sunday, “Gennifer Flowers will not be attending the debate tomorrow night.
Donald Trump was using the tweet yesterday really to mock an effort by Hillary Clinton and her campaign to really distract attention from what the American people are going to be focused tomorrow night, which is on the issues, on the choice that we face.
I mean, Hillary Clinton essentially wants to continue the policies of this administration that have weakened America’s place in the world, stifled America’s economy, walked away from our most cherished constitutional principles.”
It only took putting Mark Cuban in the front row at the debate for Trump to lose his mind and say something completely irrational and insane.

How to Beat Trump in a Debate
He has three weaknesses.
In debate after debate after debate during the Republican primaries, Trump
showed little understanding of or curiosity about public policy,
instigated childish fights with his rivals, and
disappeared from the conversation altogether when it bored him.
He skipped one debate because he didn’t like Fox News’ sass. In another that he did attend,
he bragged about the size of his penis.
Never forget that he bragged about the size of his penis in a debate among candidates vying for the United States presidency.
And never forget that, either in spite or because of all this, he won the Republican nomination :lol
What keeps the Clinton campaign awake at night must be the possibility of Trump passing through this first debate with a calm and poise for which he is not known.
Clinton’s goal will be to induce such behavior—to coax out the real Trump, the one who “won” in the primary by losing the majority of the country.
Here’s how she can do that.
Ask him to explain pretty much anything.
Get him to say something incredibly sexist.
Draw out his childishness.

Clinton To Press Trump To Spell Out Policy Plans In U.S. Presidential Debate
Democrat Hillary Clinton will press Republican Donald Trump to provide more specifics on his policies in their presidential debate on Monday,
Clinton would challenge Trump at the debate “to reveal what his plans are. You know, for example, he has not revealed any plan whatsoever to defeat ISIS (Islamic State) militants.”

1) Catchphrases: Trump speaks in memorable but meaningless three-word slogans
2) Mythmaking: Trump turns tough policy questions into simple stories
3) The Gish Gallop: Trump’s endless parade of falsehoods
4) Drama: How Trump riled up antagonists
5) Running commentary: Trump lets the voters peek behind the curtain
6) Filibusters: Trump runs out the clock before he has to give details
7) Egomania: Trump only cares when the conversation is about him

Media Rocked By New Poll Of Voters Demanding That Moderators Fact Check Debates
Voters are demanding that the debate moderators fact check the candidates during the debate according to a new poll.
Voters want fact checks during the debates. Nearly half of Trump supporters want debate moderators to fact-check the candidates.
The American people want to be informed.
Fact checking isn’t a matter of partisan politics but of the media doing their job of vetting the presidential candidates.
The corporate media are setting themselves up for a giant public backlash if they continue to insist on keeping fact checking out of the debates.
There is no point in having journalists moderate the presidential debates if they aren’t going to fact check.
Voters are fed up with a do-nothing Congress, and a government that doesn’t get things done.
This attitude has spilled over to the media, and the networks are playing with fire if they continue to insist that moderators do not fact check at the debates.
The media has been warned.
Voters are angry, and they are going to take out their rage on the press if they screw up these debates.

Nah they just don't have time to consider all the lying Trump does. The usual tactic is just avoiding the question or rephrasing the question. (Hillary's tactic) Trump lies so blatantly its difficult to know when to stop the debate and just say this is not true. And he lies on very trivial stuff, it's a nightmare for the moderator.
