Which is why after Jordan secured a "yes" from Magic Johnson to join the 1992 Olympic Team, his very next target was David Robinson. After David he recruited Larry Legend and no one else - he basically told Magic to "fill up the team without Isaiah".

bulls look really good here, i think they'll win it all tbh
It was funny to watch at a critical point near the end of the game, the refs whistle an Illegal Defense. It's been so long, it was totally unexpected. That was one rule change that was good for the game. It always seemed so inconsistent on when they decided to call it.
That old footage of Robinson always makes me appreciate him all over again.

Definitely think Prime Admiral would be better in today's NBA than Prime Duncan would be.

Imagine how different it could have been if the Spurs had been in the Eastern Conference.

Robinson was built for today's NBA. A big as atheltic as him with a good midrange jumper who can run the floor and switch pick and rolls would be ridiculous in today's game.

Very youthful popovich and rc serving as assistants for Larry Brown. That is a nice coaching staff.
Their players aren't bad also- they have robinson, sean e, strickland, willie anderson. Not sure who wears #21 I heard something like seth greene?

Too bad Cummings knees didn't allow him to play more. He was great power forward. Probably could have gone down as one of the all-time best at that position.

I think he blew out his knee in the summer of 92 right after cheap ass Red McCombs nixed a Cummings + Willie Anderson for Barkley deal.

He would dominate these guys out there today and be the best C by a good margin....
PF's are still relevant in todays game and there is quite a few so you may well be correct. I however never discount Tim in any era, that guy had a work ethic and drive to win like few have had and was dominating as late as 38 or so years old! That is incredible.

We could have had a deal for Barkley? Wow. What a change that would have been for the franchise.... Elliott Barkley Robinson front line would have been beastly.
But could he have kept us good enough during 96-97 to miss out on Duncan? He was already in decline, I guess Dominique didn't stop it.
