Utah local story making news out of nothing but found this hilarious. Diaw even admits he shows up once in a blue moon...:lol

Snyder's talked a lot about connectivity in this training camp, and understandably so: it's a key characteristic of successful teams. Look at San Antonio, for example: their defensive unit was uniquely great last season because they worked together to take away opponents' strengths as a group. Sure, they had defensive player Kawhi Leonard, but they also had more questionable defenders like Tony Parker or Kyle Anderson playing too.

lol I don't think he ever looked at Kyle really. He is indeed a good team defender (really key for anyone to be good for the Spurs I think, understanding what you are supposed to be doing... it's only really noticeable when you see someone in the system that doesn't know what the heck he's supposed to be doing like J.Simms at times <--- hopefully that dude is better TBH), but what made him better than average was a lot of defensive plays using individual tools like his length, timing and anticipation. It's like saying you sub in J.Simms for Danny and it will be peachy! No it will not, Danny does use his own individual skills to be better than average.

Wow Boris.... his personality is why one loves the dude. This is him:

Diaw continued. "I have some (athleticism), but you see it twice a month, maybe. I get a block or something, and people are like 'Where did that come from?' You'll see it every now and again.
:bobo

He will only show up one or twice a month maybe too. :lol

Boris has amazing footwork. Extremely number, and great coordination.

Snyder is one of the best defensive scouts. There is a reason why Utah is an elite defensive team.

Incredibly skilled indeed, but he only shows up once in a blue moon. Hopefully he keeps that trend in the Jazz. When he plays well Boris is a nightmare for anybody. He still seems like he's chilling though.

Fathead gambles on tons of strips due to concrete feet. He would get exposed on other systems. Bad rebounder. I can tell he doesn't have the leap or strength or reflexes to muscle a rebound.

One of the most likable Spurs of all-time, tbh..gonna suck watching the team without him..

Replacing saggy-nuts niggas like Boris, Splitter and Bonner with dry pussies like Aldridge and David Lee..smh..

I've never seen a player with as underwhelming a playoff history as Splitter receive so much credit. Since he barely played in '11 and wasn't physically right in '15, only '12-'14 really count and only in '14 was he good.

He was especially bad (and soft) against the two teams that mattered most, to the point where he became virtually unplayable in the '12 WCF and '13 Finals.

I've never been a fan of Lee, but he did contribute to turning around the '15 Finals.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone on ST knows Tiago was legit. Would've been great to have him now if he were healthy. The team could've focused on getting another scorer rather than ponying up for Pau.
