They're fucked...We had hurricans very similar to this..and man, the difference between cities and provinces without trees in terms of casualties and infrastrcture loss is astronomical.

I remeber visiting the philippines a few years ago and our province was hit with an ugly hurricane...Zero casualty...just a few flooded farms etc.

Hurricane moves to a logging provnce two days after but in a somewhat wekaned state..causes major landslides, floods and human casualty.
