It's horrible. It looks like an XBox 360 game and I have to drop to low settings to get a reasonable framerate even though I have a gpu that was selling for $330 six months ago. Fuck Mafia 3.

Original Mafia was outstanding. Mafia 2 was a major disappointment. Mafia 3 looks like an epic fail. :lol

This. The first game was amazing. I was all pumped for Mafia II and was extremely disappointed. Not making that mistake this time.

This. The first game was amazing. I was all pumped for Mafia II and was extremely disappointed. Not making that mistake this time.

Damn I loved Mafia 1, except that fucking race, that shit was horrible. The rest of the game was great though.

Never played any of them, but it looks like I should just hit up my local NosBox for Mafia 1

It was an awesome game, but it probably hasn't aged all that well graphically, kind of like GTA III (but with much better textures). Still, an outstanding game. I wish I knew a good place to pirate it. I have a legit copy I bought 14 years ago when it came out but I hate using CDs and haven't been able to rip them to my hard drive.

You asked if anyone played it. I did. It's dogshit. It's disappointing as hell, because it's the game I was looking forward to most for the end of 2016. Thankfully Gears of War 4 looks amazing.

tbh having never played the first two has probably lowered my expectations of it. after no mans sky i am expecting everything to suck :lol so i can only enjoy it

Not played it but I'm watching a fag play this on youtube and I like the story.

It's kind of a GTA ripoff though.

I'll always have love for RLD for cracking Arxan in GTA V. I already bought the game for my 360, I wasn't buying it again for PC.

So despite the claims that this game is shit I find it pretty entertaining tbh, the story line has been fairly interesting thus far. i do hate the fact that it's 1968 and theres only 3 radio stations and everyone calls me a spook :lol

Is it weird that I have no respect for any GTA-style game that isn't made by Rockstar? I know every genre has to start somewhere, but I have no respect for developers who ripoff the GTA formula.

If you want to think like that you should scoff Rockstar for making GTA III a lot like Driver. Or even GTA IV that played more like Saints Row than the previous games in the GTA series.

Sleeping Dogs deserves credit for focusing on a deep fighting system, but the world itself sucks IMO, and it just doesn't seem polished enough to be in the same tier as a GTA V

I liked the original but not at all a fan of games that require you to drive all over the fucking city constantly. Some of these games much have some really stupid people since you were just over on that side of town, now you have to go again for something you could have done while you were there.

Like the original Max Payne, bullet time was the shit, but they wore it out.
