Anyone played this? Developers chose not to go with DRM, saying it is a waste of time. Ars reviewed it saying it was fun yesterday, then put this out today:

FPS are a hard sell to me; they have to have a great storyline to interest me. Shit like the Bioshock series (I'm currently playing 2 and it's awesome), Far Cry 3 & 4, Fallout 3/4/NV, Crysis 1, COD 4 Modern Warfare, etc. I was bored to death by the new Doom and the IGN review of Shadow Warrior 2 says it's pretty much Doom with a Chinese twist.

I was hoping it was closer to Jade Empire.

You had to figure it was going to be a straight FPS considering the original Shadow Warrior in the 90s was a Duke Nukem clone.
