We here at SpursTalk like to speculate on what may have been with influential past NBA players.
Lets look at a couple of similarly talented players and their impact on their 2015 teams.

Bonner was of course part of a 67 win Spurs team.
Kobe was the MVP driving force of a 17 win Lakers team.

Both had about the same amount of made FG's for the 2015-16 season.

However, LakerPhan could argue and rightfully so that Kobes missed FGs had a much larger effect on the Lakers draft position as well as other aspects of the Laker team.

Kobe's missed field goals were all time classic missed field goals. Bonner never had an all time classic missed field goal.

For example if Bonner is on the 2015 Lakers squad, could the victories have skyrocketed from 17 to the upper 20s range?
Does a Bonner presense / Kobe absence take Laker Nation out of lottery position?
