Not tears of joy too! I loved this game, I absolutely hate the Warriors and I loved how the Spurs trashed them, but for some reason, it hit me hard in the 4th quarter that Timmy is gone and I lost it! Tears were rolling down my face, anyone else have a moment like that with Timmy gone tonight?

Don't cry for Timmy. He had one of the greatest careers in NBA history...hell, in sports history. He retired a 5-time NBA champion and is a lock for the HOF. Greatest PF of all time.

Maybe the Spurs will give him a reserved seat next to DRob for home games. :hat

It was definitely weird not seeing him in the lineup, but I guarantee you he was so excited that he knocked over a plant tonight.

I'm so happy that Matt Bonner is gone that I didn't notice Timmy's absence.

Seriously, Duncan was a gift. I remember where I was when I watched the draft lottery. I still remember Russ Granik's voice. The last 20 years were a bonus as a sports fan. He had as good a career as any athlete in the modern era, and I got to enjoy it.

Usually I get nervous but not tonight not for a second and I know why.
I saw all the preseason games and saw 19 guys playing well together. I knew we got younger and our bench shooting got better.
The 2nd and 3rd team seem to play just as well as the starters and tonight I saw no difference.
Did you see Bertans shoot with confidence in the last moments of the game?
This team is going to be fun to watch. Kawhi look strong and confident as did LMA.
Parker and Patty look great.
Simmons was Awesome!
Hopefully we have alot of blowouts so we can give Bertans , Forbes, And Murray more time on the court.

No. I had that moment in May game 6/OKC series. I really teared up then and knew in my heart that was it. Doubt crept in later by ppl in the boards arguing it wasn't so, but I knew. I teared up then. I wass sad again when Tim confirmed it, but I am excited about this new era.

Nah, after watching him last season I was ready for it.

The way we performed yesterday has had me on cloud 9 ever since, haven't been this stoked on the team since 2014 tbh
