Yeah but this year it's mostly promising (i hope) rookies.

Always good to have hungry young guys at the end of the bench.

Manu had nothing to do w/ Boban leaving. Manu was the last major contract signed. Spurs signing Gasol gave the Spurs no room to resign Boban for the price the Pistons did. The most the Spurs could offer was like 4mil a year tops. He is making 7.7mil a year with Detroit.

I'd rather give the money to Manu than a glorified benchwarmer as well.

It's been explained to him multiple times, but he's devoted to the manure 14m schtick.

I agree. We knoe simmons can play, but it would be nice if he shares the ball with the newbies

Patty, Dedmon, and JSimms are gonna get PAID next summer. Wonder how we will be able to keep them all.

I didn't want Boban for multiple years anyway. Also if we got Boban then Dedmon wouldn't have came. Dedmon>Boban

4 rookies and a 2nd year veteran . Pops have lost his marbles. But seriously Nico, Bertrand and Forbes look good. Murray needs some time in Austin, but he got plenty of potential. Great job again with the FO.

Lost marbles or great job FO? Which is it?

Both... tell Pop 5 years ago he would be playing 5 rookies in the third game of the season and he might not acknowledge you, death stare, or belittle you. But here we are... FO has found gems. What kind remains to be seen. KL is a diamond for sure. Just awesome his progression and growth.

Pops doesn't normally play rookies, but you can tell he really likes what he sees on the young guys. Again great find, just excellent job bringing these talent together.

It makes you wonder whether the Boston approach to stockpiling middling assets is really THAT much more superior than what the Spurs have done through the dleague and international scouting

Boston has a great coach but a mediocre team.

It's a fair critique. I don't think much of what Boston has.
