Does beating Mississippi St count?
Sure. Mississippi State faced South Carolina and dominated them. One of the reasons why that lecture was needed.

In the 4th quarter, just a little although I probably shouldn't be. Even though these are good defenses I expected at least a few more points.

I expected something like 21-14 or 17-14. But, I'm not shocked. LSU and Auburn are definitely the two most improved SEC teams since the beginning of the year.

I really think Clemson would skullfuck Bama right now. They barely beat an LSU team with an interim coach, zero offense and a Purdue reject starting at QB - and they needed copious amounts of ref help to do it.

Nah, LSU has the athletes to match up with Bama. Only other schools who can do that are Ohio St and Michigan.

Clemson has been unimpressive all year. Should have lost against N.C. State. Lucked out against an average FSU team. Barely beat a young Auburn team early in the season. Outside of Louisville, the rest of the ACC sucks. Only Michigan and Ohio St can compete with Bama. Bama put up 40 against Clemson last year with an average QB.

Missouri would've been a far better addition than Nebraska for the B1G, imo. Nebraska is a has-been in football and sucks ass in basketball w/zero Tournament wins in their history. Plus Mizzou already has a rivalry w/Illinois.

I doubt the Rebels do anything with Kelly because of how bad the Rebel defense is (especially when it comes to the run), but this all but seals it.

On the way to work this morning....I heard on the radio that Ole Miss is thinking about taking the redshirt off someone (don't remember his name. I'm not that big into Ole Miss recruiting) and fucking up a year of his eligibility just for these last three games.

Michigan looks like a machine, tbh. They'll be tough for anyone to beat. Ohio State looks like world-beaters one week and looks very vulnerable in others. Hazards of a young team.
Periodically over the last 15 years you'd read people on OSU boards lamenting that Michigan wasn't better and wasn't holding up its end of the rivalry. Be careful what you wish for.
