It's still entirely too early in the season for anyone to panic but a disturbing trend is starting to become noticeable with regard to San Antonio Spurs big men Pau Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN.com, in the 113 minutes LaMarcus Aldridge and Pau Gasol have played together to this point in the 2016-17 regular season, San Antonio has been outscored by 25 points.
Obviously, with Gasol still transitioning into the Spurs' system, this is just a small sample size that Stein is pulling from but it is undoubtedly something that Gregg Popovich will have to monitor as the season moves forward as the frontline of Gasol and Aldridge was supposed to be one that San Antonio could lean on throughout the year.
Should things not change dramatically in the coming weeks, we could see Popovich be forced to become a little more creative with his rotations in order to make sure that he's putting a lineup on the floor that will be effective.
Should we start Dedmon and bring MVPau off the bench tbh?
