Maybe we should have seen it coming over the last 10 years, you look at society, what’s popular, people are getting paid millions of dollars to go on TV and scream at each other, whether it’s sports or politics or entertainment,” Kerr said. “I guess it was only a matter of time before it spilled into politics, but all of a sudden we’re faced with the reality of, the man that’s going to lead you has routinely used racist, misogynist, insulting words.

The warriors is a california team. Would be stupid to say otherwise..Plus, the Snake Hillary still won the popularity contest.

Trump is worrisome, but if I was black, Muslim, latino etc..Id be more worried about Hillary than that loudmouth trump.

SVG also openly bashes the president-elect and voters

But, for our country to be where we are now, who took a guy who — I don't care what anyone says, I'm sure they have other reasons and maybe good reasons for voting for Donald Trump — but I don't think anybody can deny this guy is openly and brazenly racist and mysoginist and ethnic-centric, and say 'That's OK with us, we're going to vote for him anyway.' We have just thrown a good part of our population under the bus."

And his thoughts apparently were echoed by a good chunk of his team, which he described as quiet on the bus ride from the team hotel to Talking Stick Resort Arena for morning shootaround.

Trump surpassed the 270 electoral votes necessary early Wednesday by claiming the battleground states of Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

He won Michigan too, a state that had voted for a Democratic presidential candidate every year since 1992.

"I thought, 'Well, maybe the game the other night.' And so we talked about that," Van Gundy said. "But then Aron Baynes said, 'I don't think that's why everybody's quiet. It's last night.'

I guess when Kerr's done coaching he can run for president if he thinks he's better than Trump. Cheesy politically correct rant.

Uncle Tom I man Coach Rivers and Barkley are more hopeful and open to Trump America ...
I was in shock, I'm not gonna lie. I was totally surprised at the election results," Barkley said. "That being said, we've got to move on. I was disappointed because my candidate didn't win, No. 1. But like I said, it's over now. [Trump] is going to be the president of the United States. We've got to respect the office, and we have to give him a chance. That's the bottom line."

Barkley joins a list of notable sports figures who have urged taking a wait-and-see approach to a Trump presidency.
Doc Rivers also said he was surprised Trump won, but reaffirmed his belief in the American system, too.

"Somebody always loses an election. We've been fortunate that we've won the last couple with President Obama. We didn't win this one," Barkley said on TNT. "But like I said, I respect the office of the president of the United States, and we have to give him a chance.

"Everything he's said in the past, that's water under the bridge. We have to give him a chance, and we have to support him because he's the president of the United States of America."

You.
Isn't that what you are inferring in the OP?

Nope. Just reporting what I read I voted for Hillary but said from the jump it was a choice bettween bad and worse choices. I just found it interesting coaches have chosen to speak so publicly and open on the subject matter
