Obviously not good enough to win it, but I think he should get some acknowledgement votes. By far the best player on the team.

This year you are right ...
I know that is meant as a shot at Randle Russ or Clarkson but Idgaf he and Nick are playing well and last year I hated them both...Luke has, been better than I hoped. He even has those two playing defense ...
Mvp? Nah but 6th man of year for sure

Is D'Bust even a Top 3 player in his team ? :lol

If the Lakers are top 5-7 team before the All-Star break I am going to be pissed If I dont see one of Lou or Clarkson in an All-Star Jersey.
The Lakers have the most dynamic bench in the west, imo..Even the rotations are killer. Lou, Clarkson, Russell, Young can really provide pressure.
Oh and Ive said it already this year, Nance is a really nice role player and Julian is randle and os starting to understand hos role.
Its an 11 man deep team and Luke Walton is doing a great job of staggering their minutes.

I've always liked Clarkson. But yes, I think D'Bust and Julian are basically Andre Miller and Carlos Boozer reincarnate if they manage to reach their respective peaks.

No.
- Williams
- Clarkson
- Young
- Mozgov
- Nance
- Julian
- Snitch
Some Laker fan like Bynumite will come in here and point out D'Bust's "great game" tonight, but he was 4-11 for like 10 points until Luke brought him in when the Lakers were up 25 in the 4th. He proceeded to pad thereafter. Sweet Lou and Clarkson did the most damage during actual game time.

Man, I've wanted Clarkson in a spurs jersey since last year. He's such a nice player to have off the bench. Good team player too. I've ever seen his performance on the defensive end or other aspects like screening off ball etc flactuates whens hes not getting his...
And for a guy that can put pressure on defense, but not a superstar thats a hard to find attitude...
The guy who took a dig at Kobe in 2011 nance is like the perfect role player. Great intangibles.

9-16, 22 points, 6 assists in 27 minutes. DLoading seemingly improving before our eyes :toast
Also, Russell's numbers actually translate to W's, unlike the other top picks in his draft who put up empty stats in losses.

Clarkson is from SA, so who knows. Maybe he wants to come home someday. Think he likes the Hollywood lifestyle though TBH.

Honestly haven't watched much of Lou Williams. How is his ability to get to the rim and dish?

Really good at getting to the rim. He uses his outside shooting gravity to beat closing defenders off the dribble, a la Wardell. Average passer, however.

Too bad. If he could be even an average playmaker he'd prolly be a getable target for the Spurs.

I'll never understand why defenders STILL lunge at his drifting left fade-away after a decade.:lol

He's the type of player DeJounte could turn into if Chip ever fixes his broken jumper. Lakers are going to demand a LOT for Lou considering he has been outplaying Clarkson/D'Angelo. The Grizz should probably trade Wade Baldwin for Lou considering Conley's injury.

If the Lakers are out of the playoff hunt by the trade deadline I could see them moving him for a reasonable package, especially since they won't have a draft pick this year.

We might move him and we still may keep n our pick if it jumps to top 3

Lakers won't get a top 3 pick this year; Lakers are too good for that this year. If it happens then the lottery is clearly rigged.

They still had a bottom 5 record iirc. Lakers should be bottom 10 at worst.

Yeah, guess they did go 33-49. Prolly was some rigging with that pick to help sweeten the deal for Lebron to go back to Cleveland. Think the Lakers win around 38 games; realistically there's no way they get a Top 3 pick.

lakers have actually lost as many matches as the awful nuggets and one more than the kings... i think it's safe to say, they will be far away from the play offs. They belong in the bottom 3 from a talent standpoint, but they started strong and Lou is a good player, so probably 5-7 pick

Eh, there are 10 teams below them right now record-wise and the only team I see passing them up is the Pelicans. Unless they have a legitimate shot at a Top 3 pick I can't see the league helping them out.
