Little buddy, how about Romo to the Jets? Think about the $$$$$$$.

If the Jets finish bad enough, and Myles Garrett is likely to still be on the table when the draft gets to that pick, I'm definitely trading Romo for the rights to draft Myles Garrett, the best pass rusher to come out in a loooooong time. Even if it means we have to throw in our own 1st rounder + a later pick. Myles Garrett on the other side of Lawrence would make our pass rush great again.

Lol the Jets are desperate but that's a terrible trade for them.

Throw in our 2017 2nd, 2017 and 2018 5th's and 7th's. Deal?

Alternatively, throw in Lael Collins. This means we have to keep Leary and let go Terrance Williams, but that's fine as long as we keep the secondary intact.

You aren't the first to be telling that story, that's why I mentioned the Jets. It all makes sense, something Romo to Houston doesn't.

best pass rusher to come out of the draft since von miller. It's like giving a mansion to the shaggy guy in the sleeping bag under the bridge

If Romo gets traded, I highly doubt it will be to the Jets. They're going to do their best to trade him to a playoff team and to a contender.

J-E-S-T JEST JEST JEST JEST

But seriously, don't trade him to the Broncos or any AFC team that we might legitimately play in the SB

Romo won't return more than a second-round pick. He's too old and too injured. Could see it being like a second for Romo and a fourth. Denver if they fade to a first-round exit? Jets are a possibility, as a the Bills if they have a regime change. Doubt he'd be traded to the AFC.

No. the Texans need to stop fucking around and either try Savage or legitimately invest in drafting an actual QB. No more stopgaps.

Houston was afraid of the fan backlash of drafting a Carr. That's the short and long of it.

:lol letting your fan base talk you out of a franchise QB

How long is Palmer under contract? Maybe AZ would consider Romo.

It's going to be the Broncos, so his career will come full circle. As a rookie free agent he chose the Cowboys over the Broncos, and now he'll end up at the only other team who wanted him. Makes sense.

1. Tony Romo stays in state and signs with the Houston Texans

The Cowboys are likely going to have to release Romo because no team will trade for his contract. Once he's free to sign anywhere, Romo will look for a contender that needs a quarterback, and there aren't many of those. He also should go to a place where they have another option in case he gets hurt. And no, Brock Osweiler isn't a great option (or else why would Houston be messing around with Romo?). But another year of development maybe helps, and adding a veteran like Romo to the mix could make the Texans a title contender if they can somehow get a dozen games out of him and he's healthy in January.

Seems plausible if he gets released. The offensive line will be healthy again and Watt and Kevin Johnson will return to a league best defense. Furthermore, we've already seen that Assweiler won't become a cancer as he remained classy during his benching last season.

Do it Rick.

Disappointing if they release him. I was hoping they'd be able to fleece some desperate team.

I don't know if I want Tony going to a fanbase that hates him. Texan fans are fucking retarded in general, for years I heard from them that Romo sucks despite being a tier 1 level quarter back. I'm sure theirs still dumb be@ner Texan fans that don't want him "Hur Dur he sucks".
