on cue..

His total lack of awareness in some of these declarations explains his dismal coaching performance the past two postseasons. Post-2014, the Spurs have a Pop problem among other things-- his last few cocksuckers and their 5-rings talk notwithstanding..

If I were one of the veterans who's been around for a long time, I'd have fired right back.

I don't care who they were playing, they dressed 6 surefire NBA players and only 1 player period that can play center defensively, yet they were supposed to look like world beaters because they wore Spurs jerseys?

He still thinks this is '12-'14, when they could dress damn near any lineup and still blow out bottom feeders, based on their collective IQ, continuity and depth.

The downside to that era was he started to believe his own hype to the point now that he's become a parody of himself. Many of the things that used to be well reasoned are now done because "it's the Spurs way" and they worked in the past. What he either won't accept or fails to realize is, they worked mostly because of the unique team he had, not because he's some miracle worker.

Green on defense isn't bad but he looks poor on offense today... Gasol is getting beaten on rebounds.... Kauai gets penetration but doesn't pass out well when he gets his momentum stopped. Spurs just need a guy who you can count on for 15 a night somewhere. There offense just looks like they are trying to figure out who other than Leonard and LMA are going to score.
