Really don't understand why they just didn't get the possession back...

Another 2.4 seconds...I think everyone would have been happy with that decision.

Also, they need to start investigating these time keepers and buzzers..

Reminds me of the spurs vs clippers game 7 when the clippers realized the play because the douchnozzle in the scoreboard screwed up.

Derozan shot 3/15. Gay went off on them.

He beat the clock/light, right? If you're a player looking at the clock you don't say, 'well, I have less time because it hit Cousins hand and I'll bet the clock person didn't start the clock in time.' That's just a nonsense decision.

i was wondering the same thing. looks like the rule was changed in 2008 making clock errors reviewable.

In that case you play on. You don't go back and review the fact the clock didn't start. Regardless, the ball handler is a pro, knows that 2.5 seconds isn't 3 seconds. He got it off or didn't. He didn't. Had nothing to do with the deflection, just didn't get the shot off in time. It's not like he would have shot sooner with less time.

Oh, so you admit that Fisher's shot shouldn't have counted? Maybe the opponent would have been a better matchup for the Pistons.

Besides, at the end of the video you can see that the clock starts before Ross touches the ball.

So according to the NBA they made the correct overturn. How is that even possible? Does the NBA expect the timekeepers to function lile robots? They were clearly 0.1 to about 0.3 late, but thats perfectly natural.

How is this even possible?

They simiulated the time from when cousins touched the ball, but thats stupid because In game you have the human factor for timekeepers...Its impossible to start the time the moment cousins touches it...not himanly possible.

Opening a new can of worms. Teams will reference this when they lose a playoff game because the clock started 0.05 seconds late.

There's no case law in the NBA. Every instance is separate, based on what Vince McMahon... errr... Adam Silver needs.
