He was pretty shitty all game long but he came through in the clutch. After that 4 pts play I wanted him to get his ass on the bench. Good thing he didn't, tbh. :lol

before his clutch 3... he gave up an and 1 on a 3.

after he forced a turnover in the clutch... he turned the ball over.

he's a traffic cone on transition defense.

he shot 30% and had 3 assists. still hoping the spurs trade him.

I knew some faggot on ST would be sucking his dick.

He was 1-8 overall and 0-3 in the 4th Qtr before the three. Not to mention the fact that he gave Kenna a 4 pt play when the Spurs pretty much had the game in the bag (barring any stupid plays, which he was guilty of). But yeah let's act like he was the 'closer'. :lol

GSH
11-23-2016, 09:53 PM
If he misses that 3-pointer, they probably lose that game. With 22 seconds left, a 2-point lead, and 12 seconds left on the shot clock? What the Spurs needed was a PG who could run out the clock and get them a high-percentage shot, instead of a high-risk shot like that. The fact that it went in doesn't make it a good play.

At least he made his FT's down the stretch.

lol that you really think that he gave up an and 1. That was one of the worst calls of the game.

After he forced the turnover, I'm pretty sure he hit that corner 3. (?)

He played well when it matters most, and he's been playing a good stretch of basketball since he's been back. He just understands how to control the game, it's something Patty doesn't do as well

His two steals late in the 4th quarter led to 6 points and then he closed the game at the line. Nigga has ice water in his veins.

He was like 5 feet from Walker and yanked his arm. If you're going to argue that the foul on the 4 pt play wasn't a foul then be objective about the 'turnover' he caused as well.

Not sure why liking one player means hating the other, when the players themselves get along fine. Bash any Spur that crap the bed but why begrudge one when they do ok, just because they aren't your guy? I could care less if Bertrans gets hot and carries us to 5 straight wins. It let's Kingslayer, LMAlpha and MVParker rest a few games.

For a guy who doesn't shoot 3's often or not known as a threat, it feels like Tony hits a really high percentage of 3's in the last few minutes of games.

His wolverine like recovery attests to the hard work he put in his rehab (Danny had said he worked the hardest he's ever seen him work in his life and it shows). Must have been a heck of journey from that injury to the game we saw last night.
