One of those games where you burn the game tape tbh no one could hit anything and our offense just looked really out of sync. Just move on and take care of Dallas tomorrow.

Teh problem with tonight, as with all season, is that we settle for switching on the pick. Mills and Parker don't even attempt to fight thru the pick or go over it. I understand with GS you can't do that, but these guys aren't GS.

Just like the Mavs almost out-worked them. It's not all on Pop because a veteran team like this has no business playing down to an inferior team's level after having been told not to just recently.

No, you're right about that. They should be self-motivated. But if that's not part of the coach's job, then you almost don't need a coach.

Well, at least the Cavs and the Rockets lost and hopefully the Nets can hold off the Clips late in OT. We should've gained ground on these fuckers. Such a frustrating loss.

So much for the "perfect system" , using the players to their strengths :lol

Overrated coach carried by Duncan his whole career. This offense is pure trash.

This game actually reminds me of a '96/'97 game as far as score itself goes. The only difference is this team has more way more talent, but the defense of that '96/'97 was superior.

Manu there to set the example for the kids methinks.
Enjoy moments like this... much flak as Manu gets I think when he retires we will want him back.

I am still at Tim grief moment.

Just.. no. I love Timmy as much as any Spurs fan, but the team has to get past the "Timmy shock" mentality. A 41 year old shouldn't have to be the saving grace for a team that wants to contend for a title. I wish we had 2011 Manu/2013 Parker out there, tbh.

Last season with Tim.. this team went 40-1 at home and only lost one game to a historically great team that was on a tear in the RS breaking a winning record.

This season all 4 losses at home, now with a healthy team and none of the losses save maybe the Clippers (which was a beatdown) were against exceedingly special teams.

Spurs9
11-29-2016, 11:28 PM

completely different scenario and situation, but it was emotional for me to see that. I thought it was a leadership thing for Manu. He was there bc he wanted to be.

Sorry, I have TD withdrawals. I'm not even watching the fucking games anymore after shelling out thousands of dollars annually a year to go to games plus league pass forever. One thing for sure is this Spurs team could be a fairly good D League team and may even contend for a D League championship.
Also this Spurs team could be a damn good team in an Old Timers and Their Grandchildren League.
But, for sure this Spurs team would be one hell of a good Summer League team.

This group is a bad mix.....Period!!! It is like watching the Keystone Cops while listening to Abbott and Costello's Who's On First. And Pop needs to quit worrying about politics and start coaching. Hire some mean ass motivator who can put a fire in the players belly and a blow torch to their wimpy, lazy and sometime worthless ass's. RC needs to start sending out feelers so hopefully we can trade off about 14 of the guys. Keep Kawhi and tank the next 3 seasons and hope we have Tim Duncan and David Robinson lottery type luck. And during this time figure out the best young coach and pay him the right amount of money with incentives to excel. In the meantime us fans can sit back and watch the Dallas Cowboys kick ass and win 3 straight Super Bowls. Of course Jerry Jones will watch all of them from the old folk's home. tic

Yes, life is still good but, it can go to hell in a hand basket in a hurry if these guys don't get their act together.

It's clear he's the missing ingredient between a 40-1 record at home and something like 2-4 right now (I am not sure exactly)?

I have grown to dislike Pau's rim protection, it's just so inadequate.
