Spurs in 2006.

Why even play the season? Lets just get to the conference 2006 finals....

Lakers vs. Spurs
Miami vs. Detroit

Spurs vs. Detroit again.

Spurs in six.

Book it.

Does the word "lottery" come to your mind?

What makes you think the Lakers could POSSIBLY get that far? NO WAY in HELL.

Not really unless you are talking about my subtitle saying Lottery Pick. :lol

Sacramento blows, Portland blows, so I could see the Lakers getting into the playoffs and into the second round. As long as they are opposite the Spurs in the brackets, Kobe and Phil can get that team into the Conference Finals.

The Spurs are going to breeze into the finals. You'll see.

I guess lottery comes to mind when I think of the lakers. :lol

Now, now Solid D, are you trying to imply that our Sequ is "foolish?"

I'm amazed at the credit you're giving the Lake show. Granted 2-8 in the West is looking fairly wide open this year, I just don't think that the Lakers have got what it takes to make to the WCF. For that to happen Kobe will have to carry that team Jordan style, and he's just not capable of that right now. Plus Miami's a bit of risky bet too right now. But I'm with you on the Spurs over Pistons.

Lakers may squeeze into the playoffs, but that means a 7 or 8 seed. They won't win either first round matchup.

Don't underestimate the Zen. I guarantee you that the Lakers will pull off some kind of trade to get them into a little contention.

The Zen only works when you have two of the top five players. Phil is back for two reasons...actually 31 reasons: 30 million and Jeannie. This is strictly a ploy by Dr. Buss to NOT loose too many of those oh so fairweather LA fans while they retool.

I agree with Sequ on this one.

The regular season and up to the Conference Finals may end up being quite boring.

Lakers are going to make the playoff's this season. How far they go may depend on any trades they make during the regular season.

Only if Kwame finally proves he is not a bust. I think this kid is troubled and will once again be a distraction. The lakers have no quality PG or C. Too many holes like last season to be successful. Kobe is not a top 5 player but he is a top 10 player.
