The only winner here is Warren Buffett. Now the oil companies will have to keep using the railroads he owns while they try to come up with another route for their pipeline.

These libtards just wasted their time protesting for the sole benefit of a multibillionaire 1%er :lmao

So Warren Buffet has convinced American Indians to protest so...

They can again attack the great Iron Horse... Because he knows he can fend them off of his railroad investments.
Sounds like a plan.

Don't kid yourself, almost all the protesters are white people from other states and other countries, not Native Americans. And all of them are useful idiots for the Dems, who only oppose pipelines in order to protect one of their biggest donors' investment.

The crackas tried to hijack our protest by coming in droves and tryng to turn Standig rock into a burning man concert. But the cooler holy native heads pevailed and Mother Nature nurtured our warriors and allowed gave them the strength to turn this into a convincing victory for all whats good in this earth.

Thank you to the loyal veterans who offered their bodies and lives to this cause. The rich oil cos and billionaire crackas folded like a paper napkin

Sad news for Warren Buffett and his gang of useful idiots - unlike our current POTUS, Trump supports the pipeline:

A day after the Obama administration put the brakes on a Midwest oil pipeline by denying a permit needed to finish the route (http://www.wsj.com/articles/obama-administration-moves-to-deny-easement-for-dakota-pipeline-1480890468), a spokesman for President-elect Donald Trump said the incoming administration supports completing the project.

"With regard to the Dakota Access Pipeline, that's something that we support construction of and we'll review the full situation when we're in the White House and make the appropriate determination at that time," said Jason Miller, a spokesman for Mr. Trump.

Meanwhile, the actual residents of Standing Rock are begging all the tree-huggers to fuck off and leave them alone:

A Native American leader asked thousands of protesters to return home after the federal government ruled against a controversial pipeline (http://fortune.com/2016/12/05/north-dakota-access-pipeline/), despite the prospect of President-elect Donald Trump reversing the decision after he takes office.

Archambault said nothing would happen over the winter before Trump takes power, so protesters should leave. Many had dug in for the harsh winter of the North Dakota plains, where a blizzard hit on Monday and 40 miles-per-hour (64 kmh) winds rattled tipis and tents.

"We're thankful for everyone who joined this cause and stood with us," he said. "The people who are supporting us … they can return home and enjoy this winter with their families. Same with law enforcement. I am asking them to go."

They can kick and scream and stomp their feet all they want and it won't stop Trump from giving that final permit to DAPL. Sanity prevails over the SJWs, tbh.

As I understand it, it's not going to be that simple for Donald to reverse the decision on the permit. Now that the ACoE has decided to reevaluate the route, the wheels are in motion and that train has left the station.

Judge Orders Review of DAPL Permits in a Win for ‘Water Protectors’

Water protectors celebrated a “very significant victory (https://www.theatlantic.com/science/archive/2017/06/dakota-access-standing-rock-sioux-victory-court/530427/)” on Wednesday as a federal judge deemed safety evaluations of the Dakota Access Pipeline insufficient and ordered the Army Corps of Engineers to “reconsider” its analysis of the risks the crude oil pipeline poses to the environment and the public.

In a 91-page ruling (http://earthjustice.org/sites/default/files/files/DAPL-order.pdf) (pdf), U.S. District Judge James Boasberg declared that the Corps “did not adequately consider the impacts of an oil spill on fishing rights, hunting rights, or environmental justice, or the degree to which the pipeline’s effects are likely to be highly controversial.”

While acknowleging the ruling—which resulted from a lawsuit filed by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe—as a partial victory because

the judge did not order the oil flow stopped,

Native American tribes and activists across the country deemed it a substantial win nonetheless.

Native American pipeline protesters enter plea agreements to avoid long prison terms

Native Americans were the only protesters targeted by federal prosecutors.

The hundreds of other protesters who were arrested faced charges in North Dakota state court.

Had he been convicted of that offense, Ortiz would have faced a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison.

The expert found that 77 percent of potential jurors in Morton County, North Dakota and

85 percent in neighboring Burleigh County, North Dakota had already decided the defendants were guilty

and

that many potential jurors have close connections to law enforcement and the oil industry.
“So it is both heinous and unrealistic to expect that anyone of native ancestry will have faith in getting a fair trial against the office of the U.S. Attorney, or

a just sentence from a federal judge,

when these institutions represent power writ large

in an ongoing history of profound and literally genocidal injustice,”

I rent farm ground from a tribe about 4? hours away. The tribe had sludge from their lagoon on the tribal ground I farm. It was not done according to epa standards. Not injected, it was dumped on top about 8 inches thick then ripped afterwards. Not even at the rate they specified Very poor job. Human waste was oozing into ravines and creeks along a highway. I showed pics to one of the guys in charge (this was only about 7 miles away from their head quarters). He seemed concerned but nothing was done except they said they would make it right with me if the yield was off since the ground was severely compacted from not injections it. In the end it turned out mediocre so I left it but the guy that I showed the pictures to was the same guy that made multiple trips out to standing Rock to be a"water protector". No one cares about the environment unless CNN is covering it.
