I don't care if they have another fools gold road loss against another playoff team, really good teams can get double digit leads and eclipse 41 in a quarter and 67 in the 1st half. Having such a pleathora of dynamic guards makes everything so easy sometimes!
They can either keep pretending or face what's staring them in the face: it's time to continue the march to 6. Everyone including those named Leonard should not be anywhere from close to in play if we're talking trades. The longer they wait, the greater the chance of getting 6, another in Kawhi's prime, and not out of contention.
It's been 2+ seasons of progressive decline, yet here we are, we have the second best record in the league and the Worriers just got bootstomped by Memphis (avoid at all costs). This organization lasts so long and goes so far. You can feel the LoB about to drop from the ceiling. They might as well start gearing themselves to another ring. The inevitable playoff dominant run is coming if we continue to maximize the return of some of the key players while they still are hungry for that chip.

Any night we win by almost 30 and GSW loses by 20+ is a good night. Anything can happen and if we can continue to improve and win on the road I'm optimistic.

It comes down to 4 teams this year which is Spurs,Clippers,Cavs,Warriors. None of these 4 teams have been super dominant. None of them are perfect and they all have major flaws that need to be overcome. I feel it will come down to which team has the best chemistry and mental fortitude come playoff time.

:lmao at stupid GNSF thinking Warriors haven't been dominant. Have you been living under a fucking rock? Have you actually watched more than 2 or 3 Warriors games OTHER than when they played us this season?

Not really. I don't know if you can even consider this one, but he is talking about winning a chip so I'm good with that. :lol

Not much..
I like his sense of humor and his optimism.
This game against BKN was a super easy opponent, but any team with Kawhi in it has chances....
He just has teammates that have been underperforming..
while some guys have been playing very well.
If the underachievers wake the F up.. then they will collectively look very dominant nightly not just against bottom teams.
But they have developed fiber and Kawhi is very encouraging.
We all know the weak links but you get to the playoffs toss a coin and hope that Pop is on top of his game and hungry, etc.

Actually I have watched a lot of their games. I have said a bunch of times they will win 60 plus games but they are a fools gold team. They have no defensive anchor in the paint, no bench, and now play like the old school D'Antoni Suns. Their style of play works during the regular season since the league is filled with a lot of bad teams but it will fails come playoff time.

I think this season will end on a much higher note than the last one. Last season with all those cute little 67 wins and that gaudy pt differential only to flame out on the 2nd round. This season we are getting a lot of wins too but most of them aren't coming easy, I think all this grit and grind is good practice for when the real games begin.

That is what I am hoping.. I am not impressed with this BKN win myself. Their defense was so porous the Austin Toros would have had a good game... (though they would not be able to stop Lopez and thus lose)... but you get the point they were a weak opponent.
I was actually more impressed with a few come back from behind games bc the team doesn't give up and you can see the potential if they played 48 minutes instead of sleepwalking for the first half... (we know the culprits).
They have their weak spots, but so do other teams. Sometimes I am pessimistic bc those weak links can sink you some games (like the Bulls game)... but we shall see.
They have some very old guys TBH... again we shall see. I still think those old guys need to be phased out as much as possible, as much as it pains their respective fan bases... that is when I get pessimistic... but never mind me.

There's plenty of reason to suggest we have good chances this year. One less gatekeeper in the West with okc out. Our best player matches the Cavs best. Our team is deeper than gsw and clips.
Some of you fools want to blow the team up, but I think this team could be much better in a few months. Losing is the second round of the playoffs isn't nothing. If that's our floor I like the odds.

The point is that there is a clear strategy for beating them: pound them with inside scoring and rebounding, size, and physical defense. They're an offensive force to behold when firing on all cylinders, yet they have a clear weakness. You couldn't say that the last 2-3 seasons.
With that said, they have 3 guys capable of scoring 60 points in a game, which is fucking absurd and unfair. Yet they are beatable. Not only are they beatable; they're liable to get blown out by a team like the Grizzlies if they have an off shooting night.
Uh, so do nba teams win at 80% ? Or is it good enough that we stay in the top four. I'd rather this team peak in April then December. SPAM! Y'all kids been spoiled.

Only in a society where "everyone gets a trophy" could something like this ever see the light of day.
The 2011 Spurs opened up 25-3, and had the best record in the league at that point. Some people insisted that it was a "fools gold" team, but others just kept pointing to their record, and the fact that they just kept winning games. Sort of like this season. Actually, EXACTLY like this season.
That 2011 squad was also Champion - except for the part about them losing in the first round.

I see this team ringin too tbh, first opposing defenses are gonna worry about Kawhi and LMA, then forget about the revived TP, who's gonna be pickin and poppin with Pau all day, who can hit that midrange any anytime, but don't double down low when LMA and Pau get in playoff mode, they'll swing it out to LDN. Then they all get subbed out, other team thinks hell yea we can rest easy. All of a sudden Dedmon blocks a shot, Ginobili swings it out to Patty for the tre in transition, but don't over play his shot he'll pass to Simmons running through the lane for an Alley Opp. We also finally have that Belinelli/Bonner clutch3/stretch shooter Bertans. That dude is a savage. This team lately has been jumping off the bench playing feisty, even David Lees out their yelling hustling and dunking. This team has got it. Nico hasn't been bad either, I like his aggressiveness and confidence in his shot, he can be a reliable 3rd later on in the season. We dirty this year guys just wait until playoffs. Finally seeing that ball movement that didn't exist last year. Nice to see some fire in Pop and the team as of lately.
