The operation started with high hopes as the Obama administration hoped that by Aerial Support, Heavy Artiliary, and overwhelming ISIS through numbers would be enough to retake mosul. 9000 ISIS figthers are reported to have fought the offensive that is currently at a Standstill with Morale running very low for iraqi Army...According to the Israeli Report, 5000 Iraqi and Kurdish soldiers have died since the start of the offensive and about 30,000 more injured.

During those months, ISIS has recaptured strategical points in Iraq and have retaken Palmyra in Northern Syria...

Another misinformation. While ISIS does have memebrs from the previous Iraqi Armi..ISIS Jihadist are mostly composed of EX-AlQaeeda memebers that left AQ after they decided to seperate.

A good chunk of them are also "international"fighters...

I think an even bigger question is how..if these guys are ex AQ memebers, why are they so much more tact.? AQ was never known with strategy.
