Including the Spurs original franchise stats from the ABA, the Spurs now trail the Lakers in all-time winning percentage by 0.0004102 or 0.04102%.
That is not much.
If the Spurs win their next 2 games and the Lakers lose their next 2, then the Spurs would lead by 0.000012 or 0.0012%.

Yep, includes 5 seasons Dallas Chapparals, 1 season Texas Chapparals, and 3 seasons SA Spurs ABA. The team went 378 wins and 366 losses in those years.

The NBA snobs would not normally include ABA stats.
But they might if it kept the Spurs all-time win percentage down.
Spurs have the best all-time NBA winning percentage easy.
(Kinda ironic that the Spurs' winning percentage in that inferior ABA league actually brings them down.) :)

100% true. They're very selective about when they want to include ABA stats. There's no doubt about why they want to use them in this instance.

The 96/97 season is costing us. If the Admiral doesn't get hurt, we are already ahead of the Lakers.

But we never get the greatest power forward of all-time :) It was all in the plan.

By the end of the season, the Spurs will have a 20 game cushion.

How many did the Lakers destroy the Spurs in the playoffs tbh
Dallas wasn't the Spurs. LA isn't in Minnesota. Let's keep it real. Perhaps the same folks transitioned, but it's a different team in a different city.

Interesting stats, if you click on SHOW PARTIAL ROWS of http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/ the Spurs ABA only are 8th best record of all-time, Spurs NBA 2nd all-time behind Denver ABA (they only played 2 seasons). The Texas Chaparrals are the 6th worst of all-time.

Good, a place that correctly doesn't count any Sonics numbers for the Thunder franchise. I still see a few places talking about Durant taking over the franchise scoring lead when he basically was the leader the whole time.

That is correct. ABA stats are not included and were never counted in player totals. If you go by the FULL NBA history of every NBA franchise, SA has been on top for a while now.
As of the end of last season:
SA .621
LA .603
BOS .588
