last year the North only managed 3 wins against the South....all against Baylor. This year the North already has 3 wins...none against Baylor! (2 over OSU and 1 over A&M)

Will OSU be this year's Baylor? Sure looks like it so far.

The Big XII may be the weakest of the major conferences this year (I don't count the Big East as a major anymore) - which is really too bad. Baylor might be the 3rd best team in the South this year (despite their loss to A&M, Baylor controlled that game and I predict will finish ahead of the Ags)

I would put them 4th.

ACC
Big-10
Pac-10
Big 12

I don't think the Big 12 is anywhere near the SEC, especially when you start talking about Baylor possibly being bowl eligible... even if you ignore the bottom of the ranks, SEC has Georgia, Tennesse and Alabama who are solid teams (even with Tenn's loss to UGA) whereas outside of UT and TT, the Big 12 just blows.

I apologize Scott....I should have said 5th.

ACC
SEC
Big 10

Gotcha, those are the only 5 I consider to be major conferences. The Big East was the 6th before everyone jumped ship to the ACC.

Do you watch anything but Texas games, mookie? The Pac-10 is clearly ahead of the Big 12 this year. But hey... Baylor got itself a top 25 vote this week... that obviously signals the dominance of the conference...

yeah i do
maybe this season, right now, some might say the pac10 is better
but overall, no
annually, no
realistically, no

i admit kstate and osu are having down years
they would normally be like a 2nd best team in the pac 10
nebraska is coming back to be a powerhouse
tech, missouri and A&M would be the 2nd best teams in the pac10
plus tx and ou

the pac 10 sucks
cal was supposed to be in the rose bowl and got rolled up and smoked by tech, who earlier in the year was rolled up and smoked by TX

well, that was last year, mookie. If we're going to go back to last year, you might also explain that Cal gave USC a run and USC beat the dogcrap out of OU, which, I seem to recall, shut out Texas.

Yeah, looking at one game doesn't really say much, does it.

And who really cares about injuries and all that stuff -- Cal was a shell of itself by the time they played Tech.

well naturally if you argue usc, yeah theyre the best team in the country
I'm saying the big 12 has like 6 teams who would be the 2nd best team in the pac 10

True but Cal was still the better team, they should have won that game.
