It totally zaps the life out of me and makes my shoulder pain worse. Also gave me breathing problems. Never again for me. Yes sometimes the pain is that bad. But I suggest avoiding it unless the pain level is close to 10. Tramadol was what I was prescribed. Just not worth the nasty side effects.

Tramadol has a lot of side effects, especially in younger people. Ask your Doc for some hyrocodone or tylenol w/codeine if the pain is too bad.

What is your shoulder diagnosis?
Already had surgery on the right shoulder for a posterior labrum tear. My left shoulder is dealing with tendinitis, bursitis, and a bit of shoulder instability.

Obviously not comparable, but my dog has been taking Tramadol the past few months for his cancer..no side effects and it has eliminated his pain(combined with other drugs, of course)..

Is this a fucking riddle? I pulled several of my teeth as a kid with no painkillers. Are you saying you have all your baby teeth except for one? Did your adult toofs grow behind them? No wonder you are so fucked up. The kids must have had a field day. "Ha ha...here come Zipperteeth!" Maybe this is what led to your hatred of children.

Tramadol is garbage and was prescribed to you because doctors are too scared to perscribe real painkillers now because the DEA is fucking dumb.

The DEA rescheduled hydrocodone and a few other weak painkillers to offset the huge opiod epidemic in the US....all it has done has caused a spike in heroin abuse and people like you, that actually need a real painkiller, gets fucked.

I'd be pissed if I was prescribed tramadol and I really needed pain control.

You should get cold laser therapy for that shoulder (both if the right is still healing). It'll help you more than the painkillers. Motrin would probably do more for you than tramadol for the left shoulder.

Tramadol is milder than hydrocodone, but has more interactions with other medications and people with a history of seizures cannot take it. Otherwise in a normal healthy person, it's a better option.

Kratom may help take the edge off a little amigo.

more people are addicted to painkillers than tobacco now in the US

You gotta take at east 250mg of Tramadol to catch any kinda buzz, from my experiences. I think the seizure threshold (in normal pt's) is anything above 400mg at one time--Pelicans78--would know better. I used to pop the 50mg m'fers like candy.

Tramadol worked for me when I had some dental work done a while back. No side effects. Just a short time pain-management tool that I was very grateful to have on hand. I take it your health issue is more long term?

Not so great. But could be worse I guess.
