Does anyone know if there is a Fox HD channel on Time Warner in San Antonio? I've had to watch the last 2 Cowboys games without HD (the first was on CBS and the 2nd was on ABC) I know that the game, first, has to be broadcast in HD, which I know it is b/c when I watch highlights of the game on SportsCenter they are in HD.... but I can't find an HD chan. for fox. Theres that FXSHD channel that is always "Off Air" is that it???

Fox and SATX Time Warner are still in a little spat. Fox wants TW to have to pay to carry their HD signal, and TW has no intention of paying (they don't pay for any other network). I just don't watch any Fox prime time content, simple enough. It only becomes an issue for football coverage.

Sure. I'm just not keen on shelling out for a HD tuner and an antenna, and certainly not just for Fox - especially since it would become useless the second Fox stops being a bitch and lets cable carry their signal. Easy enough just to ignore them and watch the other dozen or so HD channels for the time being.

DirecTV and FOX are in cahoots. This doesn't just affect SA.

It's too bad, because they have some of the best HD quality for sports, IMHO. I usually go over to watch Cowboys games at my dad's because he has a built in tuner and an antenna. I've talked to Time Warner about this, and they tell me to call KABB... KABB tells me to talk to Time Warner... doesn't look a solution is on the horizon.

If you have an HD DirecTV box, however, I understand you can add an antenna (it is an HD tuner as well as a DirecTV tuner). Unfortunately Time Warner doesn't offer a similar box.

My TV has an internal HD Tuner, regular bunny ears get me the signal.

Do you live inside or outside SA? I also have a built-in tuner, but I'm going to have to put up an external amplified antenna according to checkhd.com.
