I'd love to see them play each other hard... I love Kawhi, but I'd put my money on the Bench to beat the starters. The ball moves better, more sharing, more heart, and more hustle. Danny an Ginobili would cancel each other out. Kawhi would pick up Tonys slack an cancel out Mills an Simmons. But the key matchups would be the bigs down low. Dedmon would shit on Gasol... An not that I think Lee is anywhere near LMA, but he hustles harder, an I think has a higher BBIQ... Who do you guys think would win an why?

More interesting write-up than I had figured. I think you're underselling Kawhi and LMA though.

Obviously, Mills and Dedmon for Pau and Parker would make the starting line-up better. Pop has to cater to those divas though.

Kawhi alone wins the matchup for the starters.

Kawhi rules..............

but if Sean Elliott replaces J Simmons, we have a game, (hypothetical, of course)

hahahahahahaha

I'm thinking the bench would try their best to double Kawhi, an I'm also talking about the LMA we've seen all yr, not the LMA from the Bulls game. As well as the 2nd unit rotates on defense, I think they could try to trap Kawhi an force Tony to shoot.

lol what

if our bench beats our starters in a 5v5, we are fucked

So our bench players would jump out to early leads against other starters, but then our shitty starters would lose the leads back, playing against bench players?

I understand that some people think Dedmon would be better starting over Pau, and Patty over Tony. But out of curiosity, who do you see as the bench's kick-ass PF and SF who will out-play LMA and Kawhi? Does the bench get the throwback Manu, or the second night of a B2B Manu?

To be super clear, I hope those people think this because of fit in the starting unit, rather than individual skill level. Anyone who thinks Dedmon is an overall "better" player than Pau needs a sanity check.

I think the 2nd unit because of the chemistry, hustle, ball movement, bbiq, etc... individual battles, yeah I give it to the starters. The movement from the 2nd unit is like good sex... it just flows right into position for the most part. Lmmfao

Spurs had a dominate bench the last two years to no avail come playoff time.

My ideal starting lineup would be Aldridge, Dedmond, Leonard, Simmons, and Mills. Danny Green has played like shit for most of the season and he hates fighting thru screens.

Whichever unit Porker is in would lose.
