So far this season:
Parker: 12/5 on 49%
Mills: 10/4 on 48%
As Pop has essentially split the PG load, we've got two good options that solidify the first and second units. Since they're both playing around 25 minutes a game, neither is going to put up huge numbers. Here are their PER-36 numbers:
Parker: 16.2/6.7 on 49%
Mills: 16.7/5.7 on 48%
Really not bad all things considered and it gives us a unique position if both of them produce consistently like that for the rest of the season and into the playoffs.

It's really good to see a thread about our PG situation pop up around here once in a while. I was beginning to think no one on ST cared about it.

Now if only we could get some rousing discussion on LMA trade possibilities.

I'm a Parker hater, but he's our only point guard. Mills is not a real point guard. Parker >>> Mills, tbh. Mills is a niche player who is good at what he does, but he's not a starting caliber point guard in this league.

Good situation to be in considering D Murrays elevation as 3rd backup who stil learning . Spurs currently are set & so is their future in the PG posi.

Mills getting his stats on way less dribbles and w/o Kawhi bailing him out.

The emergence of Simmons also helps stabilize, the ball handling, defensive disruptor, slasher areas. Sprinkle in the emotion boosting aspects of his game and things are looking up.
