Kevin Garnett has officially signed on as a consultant this week with the LA Clippers (http://www.espn.com/nba/team/_/name/lac/la-clippers). Garnett will occasionally help out at practices but will not be on the bench at games or travel with the Clippers, a team representative said.

:lol

As someone put it after David Griffin pulled the Korver trade; the Clippers will never get over the hump with Doc as their general manager..

Great signing, Tbh. Garnett is a professional and extremely cerebral. He could probably consult the team in how to slap people like Duncan upside the head and tell them what brand of cereal to say rival player's wives taste like.

How long before he gives Ray Allen some fake-ass job in the hopes that the TOSB Three will carry him again?

Kevin Garnett essnetially knows all the tricks of the trade. I loved seeing this the other day, he was showing Blake different ways of leveraging his weight for example. Hope he sticks around. CP mentioned on Redick's podcast how KG is a guy he hates to play against but would always have loved to be a teammate of.

Called him the most over rated coach when he came to the Celts after winning the most absurd COY in NBA history in Orlando. He ought to be ashamed about losing to an inferior Lake Show in '10. I'd blame the refs, but it's just crazy conspiracy nuts that think games can be rigged.

Maybe he can show Blake how to cry on television about how competitive he is and how he was morally forced to resign a team crippling contract on a non-competitive team.

Ballmer isn't an idiot. He won't let shit rot before acting. He's still winning games and getting some playoff games, and the value of his team is still high. If he wants more than an expensive hobby for a team, he will seek out a leader for GM and not even have to consider Doc. The GM will fire Doc and trade that bastard D-league child of his.

Ballmer shouldn't be concerned as much with how the games are going as the fact his coach isn't professional, that he hired his own son and will allow the brand to suffer for nepotism. Then he brings in Paul Pierce and would have brought in KG if KG allowed it.

Doc is a loser. He's equivalent to a player acting as a coach. Mike D is 2x the coach Doc is, and Mike is horrible as well.
